Double-update week! Why? Because the tipjar was filled again! Thank you guys all so much, and I hope you enjoy the double-update… you guys certainly earned it. However, just a head’s-up: The Wednesday update may be on Thursday. I’m pretty confident that I’ll be able to get the normal update done on time, but, as I stated last update, I’ve got an art show I’m preparing for, a costume I have to make sure is ready to go, I will be gone all next weekend, all sorts of craziness going on. As a result, for the next week or so, I’m not going to be able to reply to everything; I just don’t have the time. I’m really sorry, but will be back in the groove to replying to most everything in a couple of weeks. I ♥ you all!

SO! About this page. I finally got to the point n the script where I could use the Sand Squink I’d drawn ages ago, as he was intended to be. If you’re not familiar with sand squinks, they’re half-coyote, half bobcat electric monotremes from Lumberjack folklore. Also, about synaesthesia… I first heard about it when I was a kid. Mom and I were comparing what colors foods taste like, and Dad, bless him, brought up this condition. I’ve heard it crop up now and again, and find it to be a fascinating phenomena. That being said, while I do think of colors or whatnot with certain foods or letters or whatnot, I don’t think I have synaesthesia. Rather, I think my association with colors or sounds or whatnot with alternative stimuli is conditioned, due to the fact that it’s not consistent, and often match up with letter-toys I had as a kid or whatnot. Regardless, since I use colors to help identify characters, and because of the reasons listed in the page, I felt it fit the comic entirely too well.

And, last but certainly not least, there are a few cameos on this page! The smallest of which is Burweazle, my little troll character, but what’s more important is whom he’s riding upon. The amazing, awesome dragon is Gold Dirt, a character belonging to my friend and the handsome hunk of Irishness is Domhnal, ’s werewolf character. Both characters are used with permission, and goodness, Dom was a character that was supposed to appear in my old, failed webcomic project… it’s about time he appeared in a comic here, headshot or no. … I notice you’re still reading. You know, those icons are there for a reason. What are you still hanging around here for? Go check out the awesomeness that is their galleries!

And… I’ve probably forgotten to talk about something. Or messed something up on this page. But I think the paint I put down earlier ought to be fully dry now, so I have to get to other work. Thank you all so much again, and I’ll see you soon!

This means that ‘requested storylines’ and suggestions have no place in this comic. This also means, please do not share related ideas with her, or send her previews to your own works.

In short, do NOT send requests, share ideas with, or make suggestions to, the author.

However, should you IGNORE what is written above and insist on making requests, suggestions or sharing ideas in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER regarding this comic BE AWARE that in doing so you are GIVING the artist this idea, and should she already have a similar aspect to the comic already planned, or should she take the suggestion, you will NOT be compensated. (Sorry to have to add this since the last book guys, but some people seriously do not listen, and I don’t want someone to get mad at me later on).

However, if you choose to do fanart, please, make it clear that the characters, world, etcetera are Nashoba Hostina’s creation, and kindly link back here, or to the comic’s blog. Then, whenever you post Fanart of Eldritch, please, please let the artist know! Under no circumstances should fanart of Eldritch be used for financial or material gain. No fanmade work is ever to be considered canon.

As a courtesy to your fellow readers, also, please do not make predictions about what will happen in the comments section of these pages. Saying you think you know what may happen is fine, but actually stating what you think will happen is not. Because if you happen to be right, that means you’re spoiling the other readers, and no one likes That Spoiler Guy. In a similar vein… be nice to one another, okay guys? Please?

The author sadly must have a day job, and since it takes supplies and LOTS of time to make this, cannot afford to do art all the time. Thus, Eldritch is done on the author’s free time, which means page quality may vary. Also, updates may be missed if the author has a busy week. She apologizes for the inconvenience.
