Down the River

My THIRD entry for 's Art Contest based on their latest visual novel Dragon Essence - Color My World-

Wanted to draw something Tian Xi related and a serious landscape composition with not bright colors. Drawing boats and water is fun. And I just looked up chinese birds and picked a kind I liked more, probably chose those cranes because of Seirei no Moribito anime influence, scenes with about same size birds flying were very atmospheric.

Drawing took about 6 hours, and overall was working on it for 3 days. Now drawing the 4th entry xD
