Mitsuki's dark brown eyes scanned over the competition at BCR, plenty of good competition, Alex had told her it would be a tuff one and most of the competitiors had been training for a long time. She sighed and grabbed the white hat that Naomi was letting her borrow (her normal one got stepped on), and walked out from under the awning of the trailer into the early morning sun.
"You ready for this?" Her brother, Alex, said from behind her, he was holding on to The Jerk's reins, one perk of being the rider was that you didn't have to groom and tack and get ready yourself.
She nodded and got onto The Jerk's back clucking to him and setting off at a walk to the arena and taking a deep breath before getting The Jerk shooting around the arena and almost into the slide when a speck of dirt flew into her right eye, causing her to close it tightly, unable to see out of it or wipe it until she got through with the song.
