I've read the Rogue Prince and the Princess and the Queen and Aemond was a character I really liked

Personally, I HATE Aemond Targaryen 😡😤! Impossibly arrogant, troublemaker, vicious, total lack of mercy (specially with his own rival kin), failed general and above all he was very responsible for starting a war that extinguished almost his whole house (my 2nd favourite after the Starks 😉)!! I was so GLAD when Daemon put Dark Sister🗡️ through his remaining eye! Only thing I respect is how he was able to tame mighty Vhagar 🐉.

!! 😄I think those opinions are very sound! I don't mind Aegon's character because I think he serves the story well, but I would noway ever think he could compare to Daemon in my eyes who is one of my favorite Targaryens of all time. Also find it hilarious that Alys Rivers tried seducing both Aemond and Daemon, and Aemond fell for it, but Daemon wasn't interested 
You ... LIKED Prince Aemond?!? (I'm fairly sure even his own Mama only tolerated that particular scion of the House Targaryen).
On a less flippant note, I've long suspected that Prince Aemond was tailor-made as a mirror image to Prince Daemon - each of them warlike, thrusting and more than a little vicious (even by the standards of the Seven Kingdoms); I wonder if your apparent fondness for one is the foundation of a liking for the other?

Criteria for characters I like:
Silver hair ✅
Bad attitude, with dubious intentions ✅
It doesn't hurt that he's a member of my favorite house in Westeros, and he is the rider of a dragon previously ridden by one of my favorite heroines. While these reasons may be superficial I did find him entertaining, especially his interactions with Daemon during the Battle of Above the Gods Eye. I was also quite fond of his demise and thought it well deserved and gruesome. Though if I had to choose between the two Daemon would of course be my favorite. Aemond definitely is a shadow of Daemon, and could never compare to the original mould. So your wondering is correct! I have a certain type when it comes to characters I end up liking.

Aaaah, soft spot for the Loose Cannons eh? I'm more of an Addam Velaryon/Daeron the Daring man myself.

I know I think it's probably one of the coolest scenes GRRM has ever written and between two such awesome characters too!
The whole Dance of Dragons narrative is seriously a magnum opus in itself, GRRM is an absolute genius! I really love your drawing style btw, which software do you use?
