In the books where this weapon is used, they do indeed refer to it as spraying holy water. The Bringer of Chaos series is about a war between immortals and humans. A special ops team is formed for advance tactics. They're soldiers who have been killed in action and are resurrected with the blood of the immortals. Humans refer to them as the Ghost Corps. This is one of several weapons Nano-Core is creating for the series.
