Strange Findings...

Well, interesting how some people have still decided to take matters into their own hands and throw caution to the wind. Makes me wonder what I should do huh?

A few things I've recently found from the Questionable to the Detestable!

So, Nannerpus.com has decided to start selling Nannerpus Gear at Cafepress.com... sadly, I just checked and it looks like Cafepress.com didn't like that very much. Just checked again... Nannerpus.com has switched to Zazzle.com. Take a look.

I found FULLY-LICENSED Nannerpus T-shirts HERE at ControlIndustry.com. Apparently they've obtained the rights to do so and it appears as if it wasn't that hard for them because they've done this for a lot of big names. I'm not saying the shirt is bad, it's a great image, but the "Seriously?" down below seems a bit more ANTI-Nannerpus than "WE Love Nannerpus!".

Lastly... NANNERPUS ART THEFT!!! Yes, it was bound to happen as it had happened to kyrashangea. What's more hilarious is the use... selling shirts on Cafepress.com for what I can only guess is some High School acting group. Shame on them! If it's still up... TAKE A LOOK

So I've been looking around outside of deviantART for Nannerpus
recently... for art and articles and for anyone who loves him
as much as this group here. The results were quite a surprise.

I'd have to say that some of the variations of the name were
quite amusing. I think once Nannerpus.com popped up, we all
kind of went with it. It kind of seemed like it worked.
I guess I could debate whether or not it should have "Nanner"
or "Naner"... but I've never argued with "Pus". Half Banana,
half octopus. Nannerpuss makes me think of
pronouncing it like squeezing Pus out of an infection, not
Pus as in octopus.

So, sadly enough, I come to the part of tshirts...
It pains me to have to hold back from selling shirts, or putting
it up on sites like Cafepress.com. The truth is, I would have
them up in a heart beat if I could. I think we all know that
if someone took an idea of yours and made a profit off of it,
you'd be upset, but Denny's is big enough to screw you for it.
You can do a search for Nannerpuss Shirts right now.
Make sure it's "Nannerpuss". You'll find a few things
up from different tshirt sites. I'm not going to be judgmental...
So I'll let YOU comment on things! For these brave few
who have decided to defy things like Copyright Infringement,

Seriously ALL of you did a fantastic job! This was an incredibly rough week for all the judges trying to choose the top 3 out of all the great entries, but here we have them... The Official Winners of the FIRST EVER NANNERPUS ART CONTEST! Show them some love everyone! And make sure to show some love to all the other wonderful Contestants!

On a personal note, I have to say that I love going around to everyone's profiles and seeing familiar avatars discovering and connecting with other incredibly talented people all because of a little banana with 8 legs. Everyone keep up the great work and keep sending in your artwork!
