When I was a kid, I thought the only artists out there are the painters! :giggle:
As I grew up, I knew that not only them have the privilege to be called "artists", but they still impress me more than any others of their kind! Painting seems to be a task that needs a lot of learning, practice and skills. I've never had a painting class at school, and I wonder (if I did) whether I would have liked it or not. I must confess that the language class did grab my whole attention!

I don't think I ever tried to paint something, but I don't feel like I have any talent for it. It's the same for drawing; the only thing I seem to be able to do is draw a larger version of an already existing piece, but hey, it needs a hell of a time to be accomplished!! :giggle:

One thing I am sure of now is that painters aren't the only "artists" out there, and I don't just like what they do…I adore it!! :iconpaintdotnetplz:

Well, I've been collecting some amazing paintings and drawings, and I thought it's time to share them with those who haven't seen them yet. I'll let you enjoy them and pick up your favourites while I'll continue collecting equally impressing ones, hoping that some day I'll contemplate their beauty on my walls! :D

Your feature has such beautiful art work in it, its a joy to view thankyou for putting it together.
I must tell you though that you can paint, honestly it is not hard to do, very young children paint happily for hours, its only as we grow we start to think oh no that looks difficult, and then as we get even older we insist that "Must" be difficult, yet many of us learn to write, we learn to assemble thousands of marks, lines and curves in to images that hold written meaning.
Take a brush, dip it in to some paint, push it arround on some paper, and play, its that easy.
Kindest regards.

Hey Liz

It's nice to hear from you. I should have been :+devwatch:ing you to get your news and see your new deliciously colorful photos! :D

Well, thank you so very much for the kind words and lovely comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the feature. Those are amazing works indeed, and I, myself, can't get enough of them!
You're absolutely welcome! :iconheartballoonplz:

Although I believe there are lots of things one should start learning/practicing during childhood (like languages, sports, drawing and painting), I agree that we -adults- should stop creating obstacles for ourselves and just make a first step! Actually, I don't think it's "difficult" to paint per se, but there should be some kind of learning first. Things get easier when we first learn how to do them, right?
You know what? I think the "I don't know how to" or "I can't do it...it's difficult" is, most of the times, the most absurd pretext to conceal one's laziness and false unreadiness to start something new! :D
Your right, my friend, it's all about getting that famous brush, dip it into some paint and let the finger and imagination waltz on that virgin surface! Initiatives make us learn, and learning makes us better!

So many thanks for your ever supportive and caring words, dear! :iconthankyouplz4: :iconhugehug1::iconhugehug2:

Best regards too.
