Un dibujo que quería hacer para Halloween, pero que llega un poco tarde XD. Ésta es una leyenda popular de Galicia, en el norte de España. Hay muchas versiones sobre la Santa Compaña, pero casi todas coinciden en que son almas penitentes que van camino del Purgatorio, y que al no poder ver en nuestro mundo necesitan la guía de un vivo, que preside la Compaña cargando con un caldero o una cruz, según la versión. Este hombre vivo sólo podrá librarse de la penitencia si encuentra a otra persona a la que cederle el caldero o la cruz, tras lo cual quedará libre aunque condenará a la otra alma a ocupar su lugar. Se dice que ver o percibir en modo alguno a la Santa Compaña es presagio de muerte, y que todo aquel que la contemple debe encerrarse en casa esa noche y no abrirle la puerta a nadie.
El color da un poco de asco, pero en general me gusta cómo luce.

This was intended to be a Halloween pic, but I delayed it a bit, I'm afraid XD. This is a popular legend from Galicia, at the north of Spain. There's a lot of versions about Santa Compania, but most of them are agree about identifying it as a procession of penitent souls in their way to the Purgatory, and since they cannot see in our world they need an alive man to guide them. He's at the head of the march, holding either a pot or a cross, according to each version. This man will only release himself from the penance as long as he finds another person to give the por or the cross to, after that he'll be free though the other soul will be forced to replace him. It's said that seeing or feeling the Santa Compania in any ways is an omen of death, and everyone who saw it must locked himself at home and opening the door to no one.
Color looks pretty crappy, but I still like the drawing nonetheless.
