Turtle Keeper

This is my entry for Seventh Sanctum's Class Act art contest. I got her from the Wacky Fantasy Class Generator... I think. Yep, that's got to be it.

Anyway, the Turtle Keepers are an odd and rare class. Because of the limited abilities of turtles, not many opt for the class. They'd prefer to just beat up stuff with a sword. However, being a Turtle Keeper is much more interesting. The typical disposition is energetic, and they're all very bright and sunny to combat the apathy of their charges. This particular keeper especially enjoys organizing sing songs and game time. The turtles go along with it because they have nothing better to do and she gives them lettuce.

Most Turtle Keepers of a high enough level get a riding turtle like this one (his name is Chet, by the way). They started out as normal sized turtles but are now hundreds or thousands of years old, and occasionally go in the direction that their keeper had been planning to go in. But it's okay if they don't go the right way because the Turtle Keepers are experts at making the best of an awkward situation!

When found in battle, they tend to chuck turtles in their possession at the opposition and hope they get salmonella. The keepers themselves are impervious to the disease and use it to their advantage.
