Edit: I am no longer looking after Community Projects. For now please contact Moonbeam13 instead. If you're interested in this position, see A New Community Volunteer Vacancy :)

Did you know that everyone on deviantART can organise a project? :eager: Some examples of current projects can be found here. Do you want to raise awareness for a cause? Start a contest or group? Make people participate in something fun and artistic? Make it happen!

Now, you can do this all on your own - but the dA staff and volunteers are here to help you with it, too :) This is a major part of my role as Volunteer for Community Projects, in particular. So if you would like some help, please send me, namenotrequired, a note!

Not sure how to organise it? Want some more exposure for your project? In need of prizes? Maybe you have an awesome idea and want to have a special Community Projects category created for it?

Or do you simply want some advice with it in general? Send me a note and I'll do what I can to support and help you!

Remember, in all cases, you will be in charge of the project, I will only assist you in it, as much or as little as you like.

 I look forward to your notes!

Bart

Do my Muro for *Membership contests count as community projects? I've been kinda unsure about it.
namenotrequired's avatar
:la: sure I can give advice on that too!
Nyiana-sama's avatar
 I don't really need advice, I'm just not sure if it is able to count as a community project.

Well, yes - it's definitely a project, from and for the community. There's no clear distinction what is and what isn't an 'official community project'. In your case there's no reason to make a gallery for it either as it's not about art as deviations, but I'll consider adding it to ongoing projects :D

:la: Just let me know what you want to do with it.

I can do the Interviews.....no problem but I am non-too 'savvy' as to how to get them to you?
namenotrequired's avatar
You mean for the HTML formatting and such, to get the interview to look right before you submit it? :)
namenotrequired's avatar
Ah okay! Yes I can help with that. :D You can always send me a note with what you have exactly and what you want changed about it :)
