Yeah, finally making pony plushies again. Largely preparing for Anime North right now, cause yeah, that's a thing coming up far too soon. lol This is the second Twilight we've ever made. Never got pics of the first nor the filly made either, actually. Whoops. lol

(She and couple other ponies are on my friend's etsy if anyone might be interested.)

how had you put on the cutie mark and the eye?

It looks like you're using iron-on with minky? I was curious how that works! I tried an iron-on patch on fleece and it just doesn't hold well and I was curious how iron-on anything works with the minky.

Yup! They're iron-on black t-shirt transfers! And they actually work surprisingly well. I wasn't sure how well it'd work when got them, but when I tested I was pleasantly surprised. Takes a lil' practice to find the ideal temp for the iron and everything (you really can't listen to the package instructions lol) and even more practice getting the eyes to match lol Gotta also make sure the minky is smoothed down first... but yeah. They absolutely work. ^_^

Sweet! Thanks! I have a set of hand embroidered eyes but that is painfully overrated. I was looking for something more efficient.

Well, nice thing about embroidered eyes (particularly the ones right on the fabric) it does push up their durability a lot. These eyes would never stand up to a kid. lol But in a more careful owners hands, they're definitely fine. I love how sharp they look. ^.^
