Extruded Chain...

My first response upon seeing this image was "Okay, nice pose, bit overdone."

My second response, perhaps a tenth of a second later, was "Wow!"

Normally I don't like nipple rings, studs, or clamps. Too often, they distract from the overall image, drawing attention away from more important aspects of the composition. Nipple chains, by extension, are for the most part right out.

However, in this image, the photographer used them both deftly and purposefully. By adding them to a pose and composition that are, though certainly both classy and classic, a bit staid ... they suddenly become a fascinating point of interest, adding visual spice that transforms the photo from "pretty good" to "awesome!"

I have not yet had the pleasure of touring this artist's gallery, but after seeing this image, I plan to do so right away.
