I'm starting to notice water-splashing-fruit photos around dA, but so far, I'm not tired of them. Love the colours in this one. (It helps that I also love kiwifruit.)

Great, now I'm hungry AND thirsty! That means the photographer did their job, right? Making the viewer experience emotions and feelings through a simple yet so complicated and timed photograph, a frame in time frozen can do all this with the right techniques and methods, and you did exactly that!

Ok. Can you shortly say how did you take photo like that one ?

Well, first of all you need to use flash on your camera. Also, artificial source of light is needed, to accentuate water splash.
If you're not familiar with manual settings use auto mode on your camera
(but be careful for your camera lens not to get wet, 'cos it's quite tricky).
I suggest using zoom (not to the highest extent), because that way your camera lens shouldn't get wet.

Ok. I know manual settings. What shutter speed, iso, and F. are you using ?

I think this one was auto mode actually, details are in the descrpition.

You should set your camera to "continuous" mode to get more outtakes and pick the best one.
