Letter Fairy Chapter 2
Date: December 9, 3015
Place: My house, New York City, New York
Time: 10:45 a.m. E.C.T.
My dad and I pick ourselves off the ground and go through the door, over to Aunt Vickie. She's getting up on her knees while we sweep our eyes over her. Her hair has now completely fallen out of her ponytail and her face is splotched with stains from the dust. Aunt Vickie's cheeks are pink from the blood rushing to her head, her eyes glistening from tears that are probably from when she landed on her knees, and I can tell it will take her a lot of help so she can stand up.
The family plate is resting in one piece on her lap. The faces smile up at me, as though the bomb had not hit and the family was still alive and happy. But everything isn't happy, and only three family members are known to be alive. Our house was just blown up, and I'm pretty sure our one story house with a basement just went to being a basement.
I guess you could say we're the lucky ones. Some people don't have basement
