Interests
Ok so much for being "back"....heh, yeah, life is just WAY to busy for me to really sit down and do art anymore and be a frequent Devient. College studies have consumed my social and artistic life!!! But hey, if I can pop out an occasional piece or doodle, I'll be sure and post it up here =] I miss this place! So many friends on here that I've neglected. To everyone who reads this, I want you to know I'm really sorry for being such a flaky Deviant friend, I'll be better about visiting more from now on, I promise. Ok? Forgive me?

Alrighty then, lets play a little catch up, shall we? A month before senior prom and 3 days before the one year anniversary of my relationship with Tanner, he dumped me. He had no real reason as to why except that he "doesn't feel the same" and decided it would be best to end us. Turns out, the reason he dumped me was my exact suspicion: another girl. See, there had been this chick Tanner got to know during Thorn (epic easter play) rehearsals and became fairly good friends with. The three of us hung out a lot and I tried to like her, but I couldn't help but feel she was flirting with my man. Even while all three of us were together, so right under my nose, she was making googly eyes and playfully starting tickle- fights. I didn't approve of her company so much after those started. Trying not to be the "jealous-bitch-girlfriend" I expressed my concern with the relationship Tanner had with Jessica and asked that he please be more aware of how he's acting around her, because his character around her was almost identical to how he was around me: a gentleman, very comforting, fun, funny, sweet etc. and that he should try and make it his personality around Jess more like a "just friends" thing. Never banned him from seeing her or said that he stop being her friend, just nicely asked if he would be aware. He said I had nothing to worry about and that he would try....and I trusted him, because he had NEVER given me a reason to mistrust him, so I honestly fully trusted him. And I saw an effort from then on to be more of a boyfriend to me and just a friend to her. I just didn't trust Jessica. This when on for about a week, then Tanner just stopped hanging out with me. Then he dumped me. During the break up, he said there was no drive behind it except that he didn't feel the same way towards me anymore. Of course, i asked if Jessica had anything to do with it and he SWORE to me she didn't (and he probably believed she didn't, but I knew she did. Us girls can be very manipulative/discrete about things.) So yeah, we ended with that. I respected his decision and just hoped that someday I would see the good behind it. So we stopped all contact for 3 months. Him and Jessica got in a relationship only 2 weeks after the break up. I kept in touch with all my other friends I had met through Tanner though, and found that they missed the relationship just as much as I did, and also found that they were VERY annoyed with Jessica! They couldn't stand being around her! So in a way, I felt a little better about things...idk, just knowing people hate your ex's new girlfriend and that they liked you with him better is kind of a victory. So I pressed on with life and left Tanner in the dust. Graduation time came around and I was invited to a good friend's graduation party. Tanner was invited too. I hadn't talked to or seen him in 3 solid months. Things were a little awkward around him at first, but suddenly, all uncomfortableness stopped and it was like we were best friends again. We talked, laughed, teased, hung out just like the good old days! It was FABULOUS! The next day, I hear from his mom that Jessica had dumped him. That's right, SHE dumped HIM. Why? Because he talked to me at the party. Dead serious, Jessica went ape-shit about Tanner talking to me at a large get together and told him he was never allowed to be in the same room as me. His response to that was "No. She's one of my best friends. You have no authority to tell me who I'm allowed to be friends with. I'm sorry Jessica, but you can't do that." Then, she dumped him! And he was ok with it, haha. So from that point on, he and I have become best friends again. The relationship we have now is just like is used to be except that there isn't the boyfriend/girlfriend aspect to it. We've discussed dating again, but both agree that since college is our next step in life, we had better keep single so we can focus on other priorities and keep us from getting tied down in a long distance relationship. So that's where we're keeping things for now =]

So with that, I  Graduated high school rocking a 3.8 GPA in May 2011. Now, currently attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, studying pre-veterinary/ biomedical sciences. And it's kicking my butt haha. The great thing about college though, is that it's the rest of your life. I mean, think about that for a second...there's no real deadline to graduate or get all your studies done. You learn at your own pace (granted you want to try and keep up with the smarties, but there's honestly no rush), and you actually care about what you're learning, so you take time to actually comprehend what's being taught. It's a fantastic thing, really. College life is pretty great! And Fort Collins campus is, by far, the BEST! Hands down! There's so much to do, places to go, things to see! Everyone here is so outgoing and outdoors-ey! Since I moved in, I've met more than 20 people who share similar activity interests as me, so we go rock climbing, shooting, hiking, swimming, horse back riding, xbox-ing, and just loads of shenanigans!!! Oh, and the men here are pretty damn sexy...lots of shirtless athletes running around. What more could you ask for?

Oh goodness, Marshall, my little brother, will be so jealous to hear you're at SCAD! He want's to go there so bad! How is it down there in Georgia ayway? Feel like you're fitting in pretty well? I'm majoring in Zoology...and it's kicking my ass haha! Tons of chemistry and biology (it's practically suicidal to take them at the same time). But hey, the opportunities available in the vet-teaching hospital through this major makes all the hard work worth it. And we should totally meet up when you come back in town!!!
