Well I kinda wanted to post something there. I dodled a bit during my afternoon class and this is the result: emaciated, depressed gloomy Severus Snape -- just the way I picture him in my head.

This fits him perfectly. For one thing he grew up poor, to the point his parents could barely put food on the table. And secondly even though he’s not struggling to get his next meal while at Hogwarts I can picture him being severely depressed to the point eating becomes a struggle for him, that he might lose his appetite altogether
