Beautiful and Terrible as the Dawn

Yep. More of this. It seems terribly pretentious to use a title like this, but given the inspiration, I think it fits. Yes it's the movie version. I liked Jackson's condensation of it. I keep feeling like "I've drawn this before", but it doesn't really get old.

I started this shortly after reading The Song of Syhlex, by The Descendant, which is good, if dense, and really adds the sort of characterization I like to Celestia. The kind that makes me want to draw epic badass Celestia.

Anyway, almost exactly a year ago, I made this. I know because I drew that on my birthday, and I was working on this on my birthday, though I'm posting it a couple days late. I've done a lot of drawing since then.
