I didn't know "Frankenstein art" is a actual thing.
It's when you trace certain parts from another artists artwork and put the pieces together to something else. :/

I'm not sure if I understand...that's not the same thing as taking a lot of references to make one piece? Or tracing different parts of different things...It has to be tracing? I'm so confused. I think I'd have to see an example. I'm so dumb. :faint:

Oh that's called frankentracing! It's a real deal. And many bad eggs use it to get away with art theft. Is someone doing this to you? Note me if you can?

No, I wanted to avoid that to call people names...
I tried to be objective by this status. I was really surprised it is an actual thing though.

I discovered it not too long ago. It's really a shame because people are capable of producing their own art, yet they choose to do something incompetent like that. :/

I didn't know that was a thing either.  Like I knew about Frankenstein bases, but I never heard of people doing it with art.  That's just freakin crazy.

Actually in 2009, an artist I commissioned traced over two separate artworks by another, then merged them together to pass off as the finished work (she didn't give any credit or ask permission) It was exposed after less than a week, and she eventually fulfilled my payment seven months later

[Somehow, I'm not surprised, now that you mention it.]
