Crystal Cleanse Part 2: Consequences
Althano
Althano tried to protect his mask from Flynn's prying hands, but his position on the ground made defending it difficult. He tried so hard, but in the end, The siren managed to pry the helmet-like mask off of His face. The light seemed so blinding as it came off, so Althano covered his wounded eyes as his face was revealed to the two more senior students. However, Althano himself said nothing, almost in a state of shock at being barefaced in front of strangers for the first time.
Alona
Alona couldn't look away when all of this was unfolding. Her body refused to move from its spot. Time itself seemed to pause when the mask came off. There was no sound coming from the other party members, only the distant noises around them. When her body finally gave in she moved forward to see if he was alright. Crystal Cleanse Part 1:What Lies Beneath
Flynn
He found himself back in the outskirts of the city that he had helped clear out not too long ago. Truth was he dreaded returning but he had been encouraged to help out so there he was back in the place that he had come to dread. Fortunately however many of the Void creatures and void areas had been cleared except for the few pockets of void corruption in the area. Flynn was given a crystal by Instructor Mystros who had kindly explained to the half-siren how to use it and to make sure that he kept it away from any Void students. Flynn took heed of her warnings and began to scout out some void areas that could be purfied. He felt a little more at ease knowing that this time things would be a little less dangerous.
Althano
The masked man had decided to follow the half-siren, idly looking at the light that bounced off the crystal he was given. Much like Flynn, Instructor Mystros had given him insturctions and words of advice on how to properly make use of it. Trailing b

Let's Play a Game
Jack
Returning to the ruins didn't bring very good memories to him. A lot of things had gone wrong, and worst of all, they were mostly all his fault. In addition, Jack hadn't been quite satisfied with the amount of void butt he got to kick. Putting rats in cages wouldn't be nearly as fun, but it beat sitting around in the boring academy until the next assignments came around. And at least this way, he would actually end up being helpful. Or at least, he thought.
After wandering around for a whole five minutes, he wasn't finding anything. "Come out, stupid rats!" he yelled, kicking over some rubble in frustration.
Nithin
Pinning a fleeing rat in its place with its tail brought a joyous expression in the young Navini. He couldn't understand why people were afraid of these little things. They were harmless! So small, cute even. Heck, he would have been willing to make it into a science pet if not for a previous lecture from that strange looking teacher. Slowly pulling the ra

PA: Yule Gift Exchange
"I heard green is popular this time around. Along with blues and whites and reds and golds and silvers and-," Nithin paused midway through his ramble. He stared widely in silence, possibly giving Licorice a cause of concern or relief for the the silence. When the witch finally glanced his way, she noticed a large grin forming from the Navini. "Is that... a BUTTERFLY?"

Nithin isn't the brightest or most reliable student when it comes to sharing any knowledge about the yule holiday... or any holidays for that matter. He couldn't comprehend Licorice wanting a ball full of pact of "frozen death" (snow) nor could he cook without without possibly setting himself or the entire school on fire. However he did know a little weaving from his teachers.

Hopefully Licorice likes/ tolerates it Sweating a little...

Void Exam 2: Hesitation
Violette has a lack of care for those weaker than her. It’s survival of the fittest and if the animal is too weak, it’s its own fault for not being strong enough. However, just as she’s about to bring the bird in the cage to the maze, she hears a little song. It’s feint but that sound. It reminds her of someone and now she’s starting to doubt her original plan

GMAGS 3 Exam: Found you
“What was missing finally unites with a ping.”

After Alister gave Nithin free reins to create as many runes as he would like, Nithin would try to do all of them... several times at the very least. His most favorite rune was the ping rune. It reminds him of the buddy- buddy system back in his hometown... ("I wonder if Lalit would take the other rune?")

Hopefully Alister doesn't mind staying overtime for this exam

Alona couldn't help but look slightly deterred at the first sight. His face looked heavily scarred and one of his eyes looked blind... or maybe it was both, she couldn't tell at the moment. His face expressed that of shock. Fearing for the worst she asked "Althano are you alright? Can you hear us?"

Flynn
In his anger and narrow mindedness at the current situation he didn't stop to think about the consequences of his actions that was until he had removed Althano's mask. His look of anger turned to one of shock when he caught sight of the man's face...it was...scarred and very heavily too...he had seen many kinds of scars on various people growing up but...not to this extent he wondered what had happened to cause that amount of scarring. He then thought back to Alth's words when they first met, he had said about taking white magic because he wanted to learn how to heal scars though he said it was to help a friend. The half siren suddenly felt much worse about his reckless choice. There was no friend, Althano was talking about himself. One eye looked clouded over like he was blind in it, Althano hadn't really moved. He waved his hand in front of the man's face. "Alth you there..." he whispered the anger in his voice had gone. "Hey...say something..." He said as he looked at Alona. "I think we broke him..."

Althano
The now-maskless man's eyes, clouded as they were, seemed unfocused for a few more moments before some unreadable expression went across his face. Slolwy, like his body was on autopilot, he turned his body around, away from both the faun and the siren. He brought his knees up to his chest before nestling his head into a nook and looking downward. He had told them he was innocent, gods damn it. And they didn't believe him. Why? He suspected that maybe Flynn would be skeptical, but Alona, too? Why didn't she stick up for him? She knew him, right? As he thought, his shock started to ebb away, but in it's place, anger rose up, slow and burning.

Alona
The faun took a step back once Althano began moving. She knew enough that him turning around meant several things 1.) he didn't want to talk and 2.) he was thinking about the something. Breathing out slowly, she extended her arm in front of Flynn. Looking into the Pirate's eyes, she spoke much softer. "Let's just back away for now. Right now there's too many strong emotions going on and we're just going in a circle anyways. We can all talk when you guys are ready but..."

Flynn
He watched as Althano turned his back to them, his fin like ears drooped. It seemed like the man didn't want to talk. He wanted to say something but Alona had put her arm out in front of him and told him it was best to go. He silently nodded and gently placed the helmet down on the ground before he turned and started to walk away.

Althano
Turning his head around as he heard his helmet being placed beside him, he quietly picked it up, bringing it close to his face as if to inspect it. With a quiet sigh, he touched his forehead against the cool forehead of the helmet, trying to rein in his anger. How did it come to this, he thought. He didn't do it, he really didn't.

Alona
Plopping herself a distance away on the cold dead earth she sighed. She held the crystal in her hands, watching as it glistened in different views. It was supposed to be simple. Find the remnants of void and purify. Everything was working perfectly...but. 'It's just like last time... everything repeats itself no matter how much time passes here.' She thought to herself. Alona knew she couldn't sit and mope but what else could she do? The team was in disarray, one is still in shock and the other one roaming. She glanced in the corner of her eye to see how Althano was handling it.

Flynn
He had walked on ahead not daring to look back, this was exactly what had happened last time. Things worked well for a time then something happens causing the team to go into disarray but this time...it was entirely his fault. Granted Althano stole his sword and had almost crushed Alona but...he could've handled the situation a lot better than he did. Alona had tried to handle it diplomatically but he had to go blundering in and this was the result..."they're better off without me...I'm always messing things up...I'm not a healer...I never was...I'm just a selfish, arrogant asshole..." He thought himself as he looked out towards the vast city. He'll rest here and then go searching for some Void spots alone.

Althano
Minutes passed in silence as Althano didn't seem to only move slightly, chest rising in following in slow motions. Then, finally, his form was still for a second. In the next, he clambored to his feet, carrying his helmet by the neck rim. His eyes were open just a crack; the light from the sun was still much too bright for his damaged eyes. Slowly, a deep exhale exited from his mouth as he walked closer to where he heard Alona last. He walked slowly, as if trying to make sure he wouldn't trip on anything. A moments later, hearing the sound of someone breathing other than him, he sat down, a small cloud of dusty dirt clinging to his clothes. He hoped it was Alona, but with no mask on to help him, he wasn't so sure.

Alona
She watched as Althano struggled moving, turning left and right. 'How well can he see?' She pondered as he inched closer to her. After a brief moment of standing, he sat down beside her. "Do you want to talk?" she asked unsure what his current mood was.

Flynn
He sat down and looked up at the sun filled sky, he could add another person in the academy who hated his guts to his ever growing list. He looked down at the ground tugging at his ears in frustration. "Urrrrgggg! Why can't I stop doing bad things!?" He yelled to himself as he sighed, even when he had good intentions it always went wrong. Maybe he was just born bad, he couldn't stop thinking about when he removed the helmet, how much privacy he had violated. He remembered Kirstaad's words to Maeva about not being afraid to cut off dead weight and let them fend for themselves...that was him...he was dead weight...everyone knew it except for him but he knew it now. At least if anything were to happen to him no one else would be dragged into it. He looked at the crystal he was given at the start. There had to be other Void pockets somewhere...maybe if he just focused on the task he wouldn't have to focus on feeling so bad for being a complete asshole...he knew he had to apologise to Althano sooner or later but...

Althano
A quiet sigh escaped his lips. "I suppose." The maskless man said, his voice sounding....softer, without the mask. "I was going to be mad at you. Explode with anger on how after I put trust in you for not telling others about all this...." He gestured to his with a slight nod of this head. "...That you'd trust me when I was telling you that I didn't remember doing anything you two were accusing me of doing. It felt like you didn't. I was going to yell, honest to the gods..." He sighed. "...But what good what that actually do for me? Sure, I would feel better, but it'd hurt the only friendship I had here, with you." He shook his head lightly. "I don't want that. But now it leaves me...empty." Another soft sigh. "Like, how am I supposed to feel?"

Alona
Alona remained mute as the man beside her spoke. She could understand his reasoning and she knew that how the situation played out ended in a disjointed relationship amongst the team. There was so many things she could have done but this was the current path. There was no turning back time or completely ignoring the past. "You anger is valid. In truth I failed to do stuff that could have protected both of you. Everything went so fast, my anger got the best of me and I didn't move fast enough. I know I said to take your time to remove your mask when you're ready... but not like this." she rambled, resting her head on the palms of her hands. "But you acted so strange back there. I thought it was a void rat that bit you. At just a turn of a dime, you just took Flynn's sword from right underneath him and when we asked why you just said that you didn't need a reason then fled. We chased you and you pretty much tried trapping me in a house when I was trying to chase after you. Everything about you was too different to even comprehend what happened- we weren't sure if you were affected by something or still are... are you sure you don't remember anything or at least felt something?" she almost pleaded, hoping to get any sort of information about him. Just something different, anything to find an answer to this whole ordeal.

Flynn
After resting for a little while longer he stood up and decided to move on. He headed into the city streets again resuming his hunt for Void pockets that needed to be purified. He knew that it was probably smarter and safer to just go back but...no...this way was better...he wasn't a burden to anyone he could just do things his way. He searched a few buildings but had no luck until he came by what appeared to be a derelict house. He opened the door and peered inside. It was dark and he remembered that he had left his white crystal with Althano...just his luck. He held his hand out in front of him and created a small ball of Solar energy just enough for him to be able to look around inside. He entered the building.

Althano
Althano shook his head. "I don't. I don't know what happened. It's just like there's just a chunk of time gone. Like, like, Something just went and ripped it out of my mind." He sighed as he shook his head again. "I'm sorry. It sounds like I did something terrible, and I'm sorry that I can't help you any more."

Alona
'That saying again... memory loss? But that doesn't help, there's several reasons to that. Unless he has a mental illness or bumped his head, I doubt it.' Alona thought to herself. When she realized she wasn't saying anything, she spoke. "We'll figure it out. Right now I need to find Flynn. It's not safe to be out here alone regardless if the most of the void is gone." Dusting herself off as she got up, she watched Althano with some uncertainty. "Do you want to come along?"

Flynn
He stepped further into the house, from what he could see from the small light he had it was derelict and devoid of any life safe for the scurrying of void rats. How he had grown to hate those things. But he needed to keep going. He entered through a door at the end of a dark hallway entering a very dank looking kitchen.

Althano
Althano responded with a simple nod. Slowy, he put his helmet back on. Then, he slowly stood up, his vision finally back to normal. He was unsure how to feel, he thought. Facing the faun, he offered another nod. "Yes. And please.....please..." He said, a hint of sadness and fear in his voice. "...Don't tell anyone."

Alona
"Alright," she nodded to his request. If there was one thing that was in her control, it was promising to keep quiet on the whole situation. She knew that he would have to reveal his face to others in the future but for now, she can grant this request. "Let's go this way. That was where Flynn was going last."

Flynn
He stepped into the dark kitchen, "urrrggg....rotten food...gross..." He muttered as he looked around. "Maybe I shouldn't have come here by myself..." he muttered but there was no time for regrets now. He wandered the kitchen but found nothing of note and he stepped out With a third nod,

Althano
The now re-masked man spoke. "Lead the way, Alona." As he spoke, his voice had it's familiar reverb. "He can't have gone far." He said as they started to move. "But...I'm not sure what I'll do if I see him." again not noticing the piercing stare of sinister eyes in the shadows.

Alona
"Don't make me separate you two. I don't want to deal with that all over again," she said trying to make light of the conversation however she knew her words sounded extremely forced. "Never mind... If we can move at a decent pace, we should find it." she reasoned. Hopefully they would find Flynn soon.

Flynn
As he wandered through the dark house he came across what looked like a parlor. Whoever these people were, they were rich. The room was in disarray and dark but it had evidence of what was once beauty, velvet lined rugs and a grand piano. But the thing that caught Flynn's attention was the alcohol cabinet. "Well this wasn't such a bad trip after all." He said as he walked over to it and looked inside, the alcohol was untouched thankfully. He unlocked the cabinet and pulled a bottle of wine out and read the label. "Huh...a good year for wine." He spoke before his eyes fell on bottles of rum. "An even better year for rum." He said eagerly as he put the wine back and grabbed a bottle of rum and put it in his bag. He turned to leave then went back grabbing two more bottles of rum. "For the road." He stated as he put one of them in the bag and headed out but not before opening the bottle he was holding and took a swig. "Oh that is good stuff..."

Althano
"Agreed." The masked man said with a nod. Truthfully, he was angry with the Siren for removing his mask. To him, it felt like a violation of his privacy, like having a secret shouted in public. He wasn't certain if he had it in him to forgive; to turn the other cheek at such disrespect. But he knew for a fact that if Flynn wanted to earn his trust, however much he had before this, back, he'd have to show he wouldn't betray it again. Taking a look at the dust and dirt covered paths, Althano hoped to find footprints that the pirate left when he stormed off. "Let us see if he left a trail, Alona. It might help." He said evenly.

Alona
Alona paused for a moment before bending down to take a closer look. Her fingers danced across the dirt, feeling for any changes or grooves. "Hmm. There's some faint tracks here which means we're going in the right direction for now." she nodded. "Let's keep walking."

Flynn
He walked through the dark hallway of the house, pausing now and then to take another swig from the bottle of rum he was holding. Everything about this whole situation sucked...he was sure he was gonna come out being the bad guy in all of this...again...he was actually thankful for the solitude at this moment he didn't need people broadcasting their self-righteousness at him. The further he walked though the more signs of Void activity he found. He must be getting close to a Void pocket. He stopped for a moment feeling an ueasy chill and he started to regret his decision to go off on his own. What was he thinking? But...he couldn't go back now. He found a door that was ajar and stepped inside. It led to an ornate looking bedroom ravaged by decay. Like the parlour it once held beauty, he looked around and found an open door leading to a balcony outside. He head out and perched himself on the balcony wall looking out into the city and sighed. A little break might do him some good, he looked out and began to sing softly to himself unaware of things lurking in the dark hallways.

Althano
"Right. Lead on." Althano replied as he trailed behind the Faun. While he did, he tried to quietly think on what, or who, could seemingly make him steal from his classmate, and endanger his only friend here. But most importantly.... Why couldn't he remember anything? Why was there a gap in his memory? Would it happen again?

Alona
The two continued to walk while following the tracks like a trail of breadcrumbs. Alona wasn't sure how long they were walking. To her, it was an aimless pathway through the city without any real end to it. Periodically she would observe Althano in the corner of her eye. Seeing the mask again on him was both familiar and not at the same time. It was hard to explain why but nonetheless she had other things to focus on. "So..." she started. "You wouldn't happen to have some mental illness that you're not aware about? Maybe because um... you offended the gods in some way? Possibly because you didn't make a sacrifice prior here?"

Flynn
He continued to look out, he wondered where Alona and Althano were. Did they go to find more Void pockets? Or were they looking for him? He didn't much care either way, but if they were to find him he knew that he was in for a grilling session from Alona...probably some lecture about invasion of privacy...Althano was going to be an interesting one...how would he react? Probably punch him no doubt...he'd most likely deserve it. In either case he needed a little more liquid courage. He stopped singing for a moment and took another swig of the rum. He took a deep breath, he was right though...the only way they would've known if Althano was telling the truth at all was to see his facial expressions. But...thinking on it he was pretty heavy handed with the whole situation...it was how he rolled...why didn't anyone at the academy understand that? It wasn't as if he was in the wrong in the first place...Althano stole from him. "Everything's messed up...next time...I'm doing things solo it'll be less complicated..." He thought as he resumed singing though louder this time.

Althano
Althano took a deep sigh. "No, I'm fairly certain the gods, should they exist, are not angry about me with gaps in my memory for this particular event." He shook his head. "I'd like to think that the condition of my face was punishment enough for any transgressions." A few minutes later, he spoke again. "As for any mental problems....I'd like to think not, Alona. If I did, why did it happen now, and not earlier in my life? Why-" He got out, before some faraway voice made him stop in his tracks. "Do you hear that?"

Alona
Alona's ears perked something in the wind. It was faint. 'Is... is that... is that singing?' she thought to herself. When Althano brought it up as they got closer, she nodded in response. "Sounds familiar. Very similar to something I've heard since the last time," she said as her mind began to feel like it was swimming. Alona shielded her sensitive ears in attempts to block some of the sound. "Yep. That's definitely Flynn. Quick! Cover your... ears." she paused. "Oh. Ok well now that we hear Flynn, we got to him before he starts attracting any unwanted attention," she offered, continuing to shut her ears from the singing. 'I don't know how long my concentration can last though.'

Flynn
He continued singing until the song ended, he had to admit he felt a little better afterwards. He took another swig from the bottle before he stood up on the wall and began to sing another song. This one was a little slower than the previous one but it was one he enjoyed nevertheless.

Althano
The masked man tilted his head as he watched Alona seemingly space out for a moment. What was up with her? Did it involve the music? "Alright. It seems to be coming from..." He stopped for a second, before pointing to a mostly intact building. "There, I think."

Alona
"You can lead the way this time. Don't worry, I'll make sure nothing attacks us," she managed to say. The singing was getting louder in her ears despite its much slower pace. Why was Althano not effected? Was it because of the mask or that he couldn't hear it as well? Regardless, the faun was thankful at least one of the members wasn't influenced by the singing. As they approached the house, Alona could hear a whisper in the wind. Her head snapped immediately towards where it was last heard but when she tried listening for it again there was nothing 'Strange I thought- forget it. Maybe the song is getting to my head more than I thought.'

Flynn
His song had finished but he didn't start up again this time, he sat back down on the wall a little more relaxed though he sat bolt upright when there was a whisper in the wind. "Who's there?" He asked as he turned around trying to find its source but he found nothing he looked at the bottle of rum and sighed. "Maybe I shouldn't drink anymore of this for a while...." He uttered thinking he was imagining things, he sealed the bottle and put it in his bag before he headed back into the eerie house. As he entered he noticed that the previously open door was closed which was odd. He walked over to the door and went for the door handle to open it only to pull his hand back in disgust when he touched something sticky. "Ewww..." he muttered as he looked at the stuff it looked like. "Webbing...that wasn't there before..." He muttered unaware of something creeping down the wall towards him. His ears flapped as he heard a thud, he quickly turned around his eyes widening before a yell escaped his throat.

Althano
A scream in the air made Althano stop in his tracks. Was that Flynn? "Someone was screaming? It's close, too." He said as he picked up his pace. "Let us hurry. Mister Flynn might be in trouble." He mentally shook his head. A small, petty part of him wanted to leave the siren to his fate. But like getting mad at Alona, what would that accomplish, really? So, with an internal sigh, he got ready to save the pirate.

Alona
With the melody ending rather erupt, Alona was both relieved and terrified at the same time. Relieved that she could think clearly but now realizing that something or someone had probably encountered Flynn before them. Something she dreaded would happen in a ruined city. "Alright," she nodded in agreement as she began running towards the source of the scream. Her legs weren't going to give up when some else's life was on the line. Never. She dashed towards a damaged house and seeing two silhouettes. One was definitely Flynn but the other... "FLYNN!"

Flynn
The siren had just been stood there frozen in fear, it was like he was staring at something that was fear itself. When the thing lunged at him he got his brain back into gear to will his body to move but it wasn't soon enough the creature had knocked him into a wall hard. Dazed he couldn't do anything as the creature stood up over him and began to wrap him up in a coocoon of webbing.

Althano
The masked man quickly followed behind the faun. As they entered the building, He saw the trails of oozing void webbing litter the upper part of the walls. As he looked around, he yelled in Alona's direction, given that she seemed to be close to Flynn than he was. "Throw your crystal, Alona!" He said as he followed behind as fast as his legs could take him. "That should get rid of most of the webbing we're coming across, and maybe even whatever made these!"

Alona
Alona halted in her tracks when she heard Althano call back to her. She was so focused on her goal that she didn't notice the amount of cobwebs that littered the area. From her hair to her hooves, they covered in that sticky residue. For a brief moment, she viewed her options. The masked man's suggestion was a possibility but she was sure it was just spider webs; not exactly void material. She glanced back at her partner's direction. "Get close to a wall! I'll see if I can burn a path for us," she said as she got into a stance for pyromancy. Her skills in this field were particularly lacking and she hoped that her basic understanding of the element at least held some control of its power. "Here goes nothing," she mumbled as she shot a small burst of fire at the cobwebs in front of her.

Flynn
He groaned as he started to come round. He looked down to see that his legs were bound by sticky webbing and saw the hulking Void infested spider wrapping him up. No doubt it was going to eat him later. He almost froze up again...He hated spiders. "G...get off me..." He managed to stutter as an orb of sunlight formed in his hands. It grew bigger and bigger before he threw it at the creature.

Althano
The masked man managed to sidestep a burning swath of cobweb. He raised a brow in confusion. What makes lighting a fire in a building made of flammable wood and cloth a good idea? If the fire doesn't get them if it spreads, the smoke made from it when it did would. With a huff, Althano turned to Alona. "I think you helping Mister Flynn out of the web would be the smartest course of action." He said as he looked at the burning section of web. They might be on a timer if that fire manages to spread to the wood rafters. Channeling a small amount of Soul Power into the light crystal Flynn had given him earlier, he used it to see if there was any void spots or other void-infested creatures in sight.

Alona
The faun felt guilty at her poor actions. Because of her, the house would be in flames within moments; leaving the entire group in danger. She nodded hesitatingly and left Althano to his own devices, hoping that he would have much better luck at getting through. Alona turned to see where Flynn was trapped in some sort of material. Her own eyes glanced back and forth trying to find the other creature she saw earlier. Did it vanish? Was Flynn able to get it in time? "Hold on, I'm going to see if I can get you out of here," she commented. Since her last spell ended disastrous, she tried summoning a sharp pillar to break off and use to cut through the webbing. "If only I had my dagger with me. This would be so much easier," she berated herself.

Flynn
His attack struck true, the spider screeched and writhed in pain as the sunlight coursed through its body completely incinerating it before it dissolved into ash which fell to the ground. The half Siren breathed a huge sigh of relief as he tried to remove the webbing that was wrapped round his legs but the stuff was slimey and sticky to the touch making it difficult to pull it off. Then he heard Alona and looked up at her. "When did you get here?" He asked as he watched her work on freeing him with her geomancy which...strangely worked. He sighed as he slowly stood up, "where's Althano?" He asked wondering if the masked man had followed or if he stayed where he was.

Althano
Quietly shining the light around, Althano made note of a large pool of Void by another door. It seemed to creep up the wall, managing to cake the sealing and most of the door in what looked like purple ichor. Quietly, the masked man hoped the door would also be another exit out of the building. "I found a puddle of Void." He called aloud, hoping someone would hear. "Pretty bad, too."

Alona
"About five minutes ago and uh," she finished once she cut the last thread tied around the pirate. She placed herself in front of him in case he was feeling woozy. "I might have possibly created a fire. Althano's looking for an exit maybe... he might also be stuck or- he found a void puddle!" Alona said with some surprise. At least some stuff were starting to look in their favors but for how long, she wasn't sure. "We weren't going to leave you by yourself forever. But the question is now, are you willing to do the same for him?"

Flynn
The half siren groaned as the last of the webbing was cut freeing him. He slowly stood up rubbing the back of his head where he was hit. Damn that thing really got the jump on him, he felt almost ashamed now. He just laughed, "what a team we seem to be..." he remarked his ears flapping as Alona told him that Althano had found a void puddle. He frowned and looked down, he was still angry at the fact that Althano had stolen his sword and then denied it. He still felt justified in his actions harsh though they were, people with nothing to hide normally didn't wear masks...all he wanted was to see into the man's face to make sure he was telling the truth. A part of him wanted to leave the masked man on his own, he couldn't trust someone who would suddenly and randomly steal from him. How would he know that he wouldn't do it again. He shook his head, "we should go and find him..." he said as he walked out of the room to find Althano, "hey Alona? Do you still trust him? Even after he stole from me and tried to trap you?" He found himself asking, "what's to stop him from repeating his actions should an opportunity rear its head?"

Althano
The masked man continued his sweep using the light from the stone. A few moments passed before he shook his head. Nothing else to make note of, he thought as he cleared his throat. "I'll shine the light down the hallway that led me here." He said aloud again. "Please tell me that the fire is not burning out of control?"

Alona
The faun turned around to glance at the pirate. His question was both expected and yet still surprising. Closing her eyes to reveal a solemn look once she opened them, she sighed. "I'm not sure myself. I've dealt with lies and empty promises over the years. Some people are more obvious than others though and he sounds like he's honest. I'm giving him one last chance but if he does something like that again though..." her eyes narrowed slightly. She walked over towards where her fire had lit on the cobwebs. Thankfully though, due to the lack of her pyromancy skills, the flame hadn't spread like she expected. "We should be alright if we work quickly. Flynn can you meet up with Althano and eliminate that void puddle while I make sure this fire doesn't spread?"

Flynn
He thought about her answer and nodded, he knew all about lies and deceit, as someone who was both a party to and a victim of it. "I guess you're right, maybe I was a little harsh on him but it was odd." He said noticing the narrowing of her eyes he knew then that she was serious. "Maybe it won't come to that...if he's as honest as you say he is...you seem to know him better than I do." He spoke as he looked at the fire which thankfully didn't spread. "Alright, I'll get going, if we run into any trouble I'll call for you." He said, "may even sing our song." He added teasingly as he winked at her and started to follow the sound of Althano's voice. As he ran down the hallway the Void became much more apparant. "He wasn't kidding..." he uttered as he saw the masked man. "This one looks worse than the previous." He stated as he looked at the Void puddle. "I'll use my crystal...you keep an eye out for anything that could attack..." He said as he took his crystal out and walked towards the Void puddle, he kept turning back to look at Althano, he still didn't fully trust him. He placed his crystal on the ground and activated it.

Althano
The masked man gave the siren a nod as he turned and quietly looked around for any potential danger. He said nothing, preferring to metaphorically bite his tongue than give Flynn a verbal lashing. He sighed internally. He could tell that Flynn still wasn't convinced that he wasn't in control of himself, or he had no memory of it. He mused on perhaps going to see someone in the school who might be able to solve this problem, if something was truly wrong with him.

Alona
Alona couldn't help but roll her eyes at Flynn's teasing. She gave him a small smile and proceeded to look at the fire in front of her. With a few quick motions, the fire died as it had started, although with a bit of a challenge. She sighed, placing her hands on her hips. 'I hope the other two will be alright. Don't need another problem with those biting each other's heads off but maybe them being stuck together without a third party will help... I hope.'

Flynn
He breathed a huge sigh of relief as all the Void was purified, at least this building wouldn't be as dangerous now. He returned to Althano and looked towards the masked man, what could he say? Perhaps it was best not to say anything he was sure the other man would snap if he opened his mouth anyway so he just sat down and decided to wait for Alona, the fires were only minor so she shouldn't have too hard a time. "Alona should be along shortly." He spoke not looking at the masked man. "She just needed to deal with a few fires."

Althano
Althano said nothing, giving the area one last look over before turning towards the door that had been covered in void a few minutes ago. Walking by Flynn, he dropped the light crystal on the Siren's lap, before moving to reach for the door. Was it left unlocked, he wondered. He hoped it was, so they could get out of this musty house.

Alona
Tapping her hoof, the faun was trying to drag out her absence for as long as she could. When it got to the point that waiting any further would raise suspicion, she began walking down and trying to locate the other two members.

Flynn
He looked at the crystal that Althano had dropped into his lap. He sighed and picked it up putting it into his pocket before standing up. "Can we talk about this?" He asked as he started to follow growing irritated by the silent treatment he was being given. Why was he always the bad guy in these kind of situations? "Can we talk about the great big shark in the room?" He asked with an irritated sigh, no...he was through with being everyone else's villian. "I'm sorry for removing your helmet, I didn't know that you were hiding something that serious..." He said sounding a little guilty. "Look...you can tell when someone is lying by looking them in the eye that's all I wanted to do...you stole my sword...I'll admit I was angry about it and I wasn't thinking clearly." He explained figuring he was at least a little justified in his actions even if Althano and possibly Alona didn't think so. "If you want to yell at me or even punch me in the face go right ahead...I probably deserve it." He said still irritated. "But ignoring a problem isn't gonna make it go away...whatever it is that's turning you into a klepto which...by the way...could use a little more style...you need to get help for it..."

Althano
The masked man leaned against a wall, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "What would attacking you solve? I told you that I didn't know what in the gods you were talking about, and I hadn't given you a reason to not trust me." He said, shooting a withering glare at Flynn before looking at the floor. "I trusted you enough to not put a knife in my gut before you breached my trust by not taking me at my word when I gave you no reason to distrust it. Now I am not so sure anymore."

Flynn
"Wait...you trusted me?" He asked feeling worse now. "I always thought you didn't trust me with me being a pirate and a pain in the ass." He said as he sighed. "OK...I probably could've handled the situation a lot better than I did but...there's no going back now and if you're worried about me blabbing about your secret don't...I'm surprisingly good at keeping people's secrets." He said as he thought for a moment. "Look I don't know what else to say to apologise...let's just carry on and you don't have to see my mug again after this if you still hate me...though...probably got a lot more people here who hate me than like me...guess that's just the kind of guy I am..." He added as he started to head out of the room.

Althano
Another sigh escaped from the mask. "No. I don't hate you. But I suppose if I could give advice to you, it's to be consentious of others. I believe the saying goes 'walk a mile in my shoes'." He gave the siren another look, although it was softer. "Although a part of me says 'An eye for an eye' fits better."

Flynn
"Wait...you're planning on horrifically scarring me?" He asked as he raised his hands to his face. He then realised what he said. "That came out wrong...sorry." He apologised he supposed that being vain was something that wouldn't change. "I am trying to think about others more, it's just hard."

Althano
"Well, it is worth doing if it is hard." He noted, before looking down the corridor. "Where is Alona?"

Alona
Alona's footsteps could be heard a few seconds later. She reached the other two, with a slight sigh of relief. "Whew, you guys didn't rip each other apart while I was gone. Sorry about that, Pyromancy is not my strong suit but I was able to kill the fire before it spread... thankfully." she coughed whether it be from embarrassment at her lack of skills or something else. Clasping her hands together, she glanced around the room. "I take it the void puddle got taken care of?"

Flynn
He sighed as he heard Alona, "give us some credit." He uttered with a pout and looked at Althano. "Guess that answers your question." He said as he nodded at Alona, "been taken care of now let's get out of this creepy place." He suggested as he headed for the exit of the building.

Althano
"Yes. There should be one more void spot nearby." Althano said as he pushed off the wall. "Hopefully."

Alona
Nodding at Althano's comment, she folded her arms. " I give you guys credit when credit is due," she half teased. She was at least thankful that something didn't going horribly wrong, not that she would allow such a thing to happen with her being within an earshot of their conversation. "I hadn't found any void spots nearby while walking over or when Althano and I were coming here. What about you Flynn?"

Flynn
He shook his head, "no...but I sensed something in this building which was why I entered it. Who knew it would be home to a giant spider that wanted to eat me..."

Althano
Althano sighed again. "Maybe it was out in the open, not in a building? Maybe it was under rubble." He gave a shrug. "They never specified where it would be, correct?"

Alona
"Yeah," Alona agreed. "I can use my geomancy to remove rubble that we encounter but why don't we try sticking together this time?" she emphasized by with her hands.

Flynn
"I never thought of that and geomancy sounds good." He said before he looked down guiltily. "Yeah, yeah...I know that was a dig at me for going off on my own like that...I won't do it again...mum." He said the last part teasingly as he looked up and smiled at Alona

Althano
"Very well." He said as he looked at Alona, mask making his face unreadable. "I'll lead, since I'm sure you won't trust me otherwise."

Alona
"Hey, I'm not that old ya little brat," Alona retorted while ruffling the pirate's hair like she used to do to her siblings. She glanced at Althano as he explained. "Ok." She said. The faun couldn't help but feel a bit guilty that she didn't try to deny his claim. He was right in some way. While it was all good and dandy to just forget everything, that's not how real life worked. Actions have consequences and whether or not his claims are fully justified, they would be revealed later on."Yeah... sure."

Flynn
Flynn laughed as his hair was ruffled before he looked over at Alth and shrugged. "You said it not us." He spoke though the masked man was right, he was finding it a little hard to trust him right now.

Althano
The masked man sighed. "Well, let us go, then. Keep eyes and ears open for that last void spot. Then we can all leave and you two can avoid seeing me at your own discretion, and I can go back to doing what I usually do." He said bitterly. He hated to say, but them still not trusting him, even now did tick him up.

Alona
"Alth-," she said as she placed a hand on her forehead. This whole thing was getting ridiculous. There was strain on friendly communication, no guidelines... was Instructor Elgar's team ever THIS bad like right now with this group? "I think we need to address the issue head on before anything else. If we're going to keep harboring doubt or resentment then we won't be up to our full potential."

Flynn
"Which issue would that be? The fact that Alth stole from me and tried to kill you or me removing his helmet?" He asked with a shrug. "They're both pretty big issues but...I'll probably end up being the bad guy in this situation like I always am."

Althano
"We can discuss this drama when we get back." Althano said curtly. "We are losing daylight, and I do not think the instructors will be pleased if we are sitting around. We have been sidetracked too much, right?" He sighed. "We will be talking about this back on campus. Let's just finish this, please?"

Alona
For a brief moment, Alona stilled in her tracks. Her face conveyed a mixture of emotions, confusion, grief, concern, and finally defeat. "Fine. But you aren't wriggling away after this," Alona simply said before walking away from the two. Her ears remained alert and her eyes moved in all directions. When the faun reached outdoors, the only thing she could hear was the wind. Walking around the house, she checked over and under for any signs of void. "Nothing. Of course," she grumbled.

Flynn
He nodded, "fine..." he uttered they had been distracted enough. "Could always tie him up if he tries to escape." He suggested as he looked around for any signs of Void pockets. "Nothing..." he muttered as he began to sing quietly to himself.

Althano
The masked man sighed as he turned over rubble. "Nothing. Let us keep moving. One will be here somewhere...."

Alona
Before Alona could agree, she crossed a small pile of rubble near the house as she turned the corner. “Hello... What’s this?” She whispered, flicking her hands slightly to move the rocks to the side with her geomancy.

Flynn
He stopped as heard Alona, his ears flapped as he approached and looked at her. "Did you find something?" He asked curiously.

Althano
The masked man turned back to look at the faun and the siren, occasionally glancing around in case something might attack them.

Alona
The rocks in front of her individually rose to be tossed aside. It wasn't until the last stone was removed that she was starting to feeling a bit fatigued with the amount of magic she had been using throughout her time here. However, her attempts were rewarded with the last void they were looking for. Alona pulled out the last the crystal that the group had and took a few steps back. "Here goes nothing," she whispered before smashing the purifying crystal at the void puddle.

Flynn
He looked over as he heard Alona, she must've found another Void puddle. He supposed that that was the last one. "I guess that was it now." He said as he looked from one to the other. "We should probably head back."

Althano
The masked man nodded tersely. The sooner he could leave, he thought, the better. He could get some time alone to think. Maybe ask one of the instructors what might've happened to cause this gap in his memory. "Yes. Let's go back."

Alona
"Alright then" Alona nodded. She had many expectations when initially arriving to the the broken down city a second time but she never this? Perhaps when they get back, they might what happened with Althano's memory. But for now, it was not worth trying to communicate to the group when everyone else was broken in their own way. Time was essential before for a situation like this. As Alona took a step forward, she followed the two and dared not to look back at that cursed place again.
