Nezumi 2021

Another ref time! This actually another adopted character, this time from O-iamzoey 

Well he is more of an adopt/semi-custom.

His name is a nod to the translation of the word rat or other meaning like mouse.

Took a while to write his description, a lot of changes and rewriting

There are many types of Draman species in the lands, in some rare occasions that a crossbreed exists, a mix of two species but the downfall of their existence is a chance of health issues or behavioural problems and Nezumi is an example.

Nezumi is seen as a loner by many, wary of others and comes across as a blunt type. Yet he is quick to jump to the matter at hand whenever something goes on, being very loyal to those who he trusts and who has cared for him. He tends to not think before acting, so sometimes he can come across as harsh or stubborn.

An orphan raised by a Rataloi family, he grew up seemingly fine at first from the kind care of his adoptive family. Then during his childhood it became apparent he was a bit of trouble, having anger issues towards others, lashing out at those who hurt his feelings. He was constantly reminded not to retaliate with violence but Nezumi would complain of pain as he would hold himself.

In his early teenage years it became the reality of what Nezumi really was, a simple day in the marketplace with his adoptive father led to a more scary disaster. He was being mocked by his bullies, how he was being raised by rats and teasing about the many possibilities of why his real parents left him. Nezumi tried to hold his anger in as taught to keep calm, his skin strangely flicking strange light and then a sudden explosion of rage, markings on his face lighting up and electrified clouds emit from him, the lightning ripping through the ground and sparks flying off. His adoptive father quickly bounds over to him and calms him down before further damage is done. 

“You’re a crossbreed!” One of the bullies shouted!

Nezumi was suddenly mortified by hearing the word, he heard the stories of them and how they are seen as a bad thing in life. He felt sick from truth hitting hard and broke down in tears.

Nezumi’s body has a hard time understanding if he is supposed to be a Eastern or Runic species, the glowing markings from his Runic species based on his mood and the crackling lightning mixed with the dusty clouds from his Eastern species side, which although is capable of healing but it turns out to be more destructive when he gets upset or angry whenever his marking start to crackle and glow. Which eerily look like veins that are flickering from his unstable glow.

The Rataloi word is just a made-up name to call anthropomorphised rats, so he was pretty much raised by human sized rats on two legs.
