Forbidden Dragons: Feathered Guardians

Working on a new series of drawings focusing on the Forbidden Dragons that have been mentioned here and there. Colossal dragons that roam the edges of the lands, they never cross over into the mainlands and keep to their own territory. Who knows why and what is beyond their land. Those who do try to travel within these lands where these dragons live are quick to be chased back.

These dragons have important roles when it comes to the relation to the Draman.

These venomous feathered dragons spend a lot of time guarding, even when outside in the sun. They have very short legs and long serpentine bodies that are adorned with shaped scales and feathers. Can make themselves look like stone to hide away, over time they develop mossy growth on their bodies due to the time they spend idle.

They guard large amounts of wealth and hidden history, anyone that travels to riffle through what they own is quick to be snapped up when they notice their motives, dropping their camouflage as they approach in a stealthily manner. Those do try to bribe the creatures though with a unique trinket to fit their likings, an offer to trade but they are wise to oversee something equal.
