As a neophyte demon, she struggled with herself to remember her noble heritage and who she once was. If only she could be strong and resist the urges to do evil. Maim, kill, devour!!! The stongest urge of all - to seek revenge against the one who transformed her into this wretched creature.

- Yeah, so this was fun. I didn't know she was going to be a demon when I started. I was just having tons of fun moving that pencil across the page. It's a bit of a mess....I was trying to do two things I hadn't really done before - a profile, and show some deep emotion. I was going for anguish, but I missed it by that much....lol. Hmm.....the hair, let's not mention that, mkay? Don't mention that nondesign on her bodice either. ;) I definitely got into the 'if I work on this anymore, I'll just mess it up phase'.

Thank you very much! That's definitely something I want to expand on with my art - storytelling. So, I'm glad that you appreciated my first attempt at that aspect. :glomp:

This isn't bad at all. The proportions are really nice. I like the way her shoulder came out. The face is fantastic. I always have difficulty expressing emotion in my drawings. Lovely work.

Thank you very much! I'm rather fond of her....even been thinking about doing a whole series based around her story. It'll give me more opportunites to try drawing emotions, that's for sure. :giggle:

I love her nose :)
Just had to say that
and the fact you can draw an open mouth from the side *envy*

hehe....well thank you. This is probably only the second or third profile I have drawn, so I had to reference my own mouth to get that done. Good thing I have a mirror in my room, people would have thought I was crazy if they saw me doing that. :giggle:

The way the hair flows- and the sheer moment of it all really seem to be intune with one another. The way you shade really reflects well on the horns and lips, and well as everything else.

What can I say?-I'm stunned.

You are so right! I usually open up the emoticons page and just leave it there while I'm commenting so I can find what I want quickly.
