These look really good! I could see them being really useful!

And...I have a question: How do you edit models/add skeletons (like arms, legs, thighs, pelvises, etc...) in Daz?

You can get daz downloads here as well as the daz software, and I get them in ShareCG. [link] I get mostly free stuff in both places. You will get an idea of what you are looking for by seeing their models, poses, props, and etc.
Poser is a program where I have more control over textures, but you can load daz models into poser as well.

OK:)

So, Poser would allow me to edit the models - change their shape - like adding arms or such (as a simple example:D)?

There are models in poser with full body forms, legs, etc, but it comes with dials that allow you to change the shapes. But so does daz program. In poser I can change the colors and textures at will if I want, with daz I haven't found a way to do that. Adding body parts will have to come from a different program, such as paintshop, photoshop, where you can delete or add by using their tools. Hope this helps, and I haven't confused you.
By the way is gmp a program and what does it do? Do you have a link?

Ohh! Ok that makes sense now! I have no problem editing in Gimp - I just wanted to know if it would be any easy otherwise...:D

GIMP is a free alternative to Photoshop, and in many ways is even more powerful and robust. Link? Sure! [link] :D
