Looking back at 2025 and 2026 Plans

I'm a little late writing stuff here (I usually post my dumbass thoughts on bluesky if you want to follow me there!) but 2025 was a decent year for me.

Looking solely at art, I drew over 150 pictures, which wasn't really something I was aiming to do, but I do enjoy drawing so I'm happy to have that many. I know most of my stuff isn't amazing, but I appreciate it when anyone comes along and likes what I've done! I end up posting nearly everything that I draw because I've discovered even if I am not satisfied with something, someone usually likes it.

The backlog did make things a bit odd. Even going in to 2025 I had a bunch of pictures that were waiting to be posted. I'll hold on to some for whatever reason and sometimes even when the opportunity comes along I'd still be sitting on it. i don't think that's really a good plan, so going in to 2026 hopefully nearly everything will be at the very least within the same month.

I'm hoping too that the lack of a backlog to post will make it easier to listen to peoples' ideas a bit more. There have been various times I'd had someone say they wanted to see more of a picture or something similar and I'd wanted to do it, but never got around to it. I don't really want to be an "open requests" person but I do like hearing ideas. Maybe this year I will not ignore them completely.

As for 2026, I'm not really planning on changing anything. I know most people who follow me here probably do so because of bondage pictures, but I do really like doing lots of "normal" stuff now too. I'm not sure what it was when I started drawing, I think like I felt that I had to keep doing bondage drawings cause that's what people liked best, but on pixiv at least there have been a few that have nothing to do with that which do really well, so I'm more inclined to just do what I feel. I might draw a lot, I might draw a little. I'm just gonna do what I feel like doing.

Ultimately this is just a hobby. I am not sure I'd ever be able to make it anything more than that, not that I am really looking to monetize (but there's always the dream of being able to quit your day job, haha.) I'm going to keep drawing and I think I'm still slowly improving, so hopefully I can just keep getting better and better and hopefully you all stick around. Thanks for a good 2025

Hey everyone, hope the summer's been treating you well First off, wanna continue to thank everyone who has been checking the gallery. Watching and faving, whether it's here or pixiv, possibly twitter or if you're one of the three people who look at newgrounds. I mentioned this in my last journal in June, but I've slowly been falling behind with my backlog of work. I was able to do two posts each week this year because I had a bunch saved up from last year, but that backlog is slowly dwindling and I've only got a few things left. I basically need to draw two pictures a week to keep the pace and do more to keep up, but I may have to go back to one a week. One's always been my goal, so don't be surprised if there's no Wednesday post once in a while. That said, there (probably) won't be one at some point in September as I'm going away for half a week. As for future posts, I've pretty much just got Pokegirls lined up. There's one or two that aren't, but yeah, out of the few I have

It's been a couple months since there's been a proper post talking about things, so lets catch up. Ever since the start of 2019-ish, I've been trying to keep a goal of posting at least one picture every week, usually on Saturday. It's been a nice routine to keep up the whole art thing and so far it's worked out rather well. And the goal was always one POST per week, not finishing one drawing a week - that one just wouldn't work out so well. Still, I'd had enough of a backlog that I've been doing two a week all this year, the bonus pictures being on Wednesday. I'm actually running a little lower than I'd like on finished works, so I might have to drop it down to one a week sometime in the future. This is partially due to not really knowing what I want to work on. At the same time I both have lots of ideas written down and no ideas I want to do. Quick update since all of this quarantine stuff is going down: I live in an area that's not had any cases of the virus (at least so far as I'm aware!) but everything's still shut down like everywhere else. I've lived as a hermit for most of my life so being stuck inside really isn't a problem. My work is considered essential, so I'm still doing my job every day, but from home. On the bright side of that, it's pretty nice since I'd have a 45 minute drive one way every day to get to work. It's March now, so time to check in.Been feeling pretty busy this year so far. I'm not really sure why that is to be honest. There's a couple things that have been on my calendar, but nothing much that should make me feel that way.
