A Tribute

Let me first start this journal entry by apologizing for my lack of replying to comments and thank yous. Due to personal problems, for the last couple of years I have been in a funk where I often distance myself to people. I continue visiting da to view the latest deviations, and occasionally post something new that I've pushed myself to work on. However, I want to start becoming more active on da. Starting with this journal entry:

Last night the family cat of 13 years passed away. Today the family dog of 16 years had to be put down. In honor of them, I thought I'd create a dog a cat feature. I hope everyone enjoys.

It saddens me deeply to loose both these pets within a day of each other. But both had been sick for a while and i find peace in knowing they are no longer in pain.
