Back with another rare journal post to say that y'all should DEFINITELY be looking into this Kickstarter, especially if you ever used Colors!3D on the 3DS or any other in the Colors series of apps. Colors Live is being developed for the Switch, and will be packaged with a tablet pen accessory that plugs into the Switch's headphone jack. The pen is pressure sensitive which is an absolute first for the series – not to mention a wacky brand new peripheral for the Switch, that who knows, may get more use in other games later on? (Though that last bit is just me hoping and speculating.) Pledging around $39 (plus $10 shipping) nets you the game and pen, and $59 gets you a choice of pen wire color and access to the Windows-only beta. I used Colors!3D only briefly, but I thoroughly enjoyed the app and can highly recommend backing this project. The dev clearly has a strong passion for this project and many people are super excited to see how it develops!

I don't often post journals here anymore, but I figure this is kind of an important thing! I'm going to go ahead and say first that until a decent gallery/portfolio style of art community appears as a true competitor to dA, I will not be leaving dA. I had already switched over to Eclipse to get ready for the change and get used to the new layout.
