Speedpaint: Three Caves by mynti Speedpaint: Three Caves by mynti
A speedie started with `memod that I worked on for an additional two hours.

The stock we looked at is here: [link]

It's always interesting to see our differing interpretations!

This one I deviated from the stock during my own session. There's a few things hidden in there.

Adobe PSCS3, Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, 3 hours
Details here: [link]

:bulletgreen: I have featured your work in my journal :bulletgreen:

So much details! When i first read the comments, i was like "wtf? A fisher? where?!" I searched around the painting and finally found it ^^ I think that there might be living some prehistorical creatures in the caves =)

It's anyone's guess! It could be people or monsters :giggle: I prefer to think something dangerous, it gives that fisher dood some drama in his vacation!

Your speedpaints always amaze me.
I don't even see -how- it's possible for you to create so many details in such a short period of time. Even with the reference, something like this for me would take days and days. -jealous-

Haha. I just caught the little guy fishing. XD

It's called scribbles! Mostly it's just randomness that looks like detail. Hehe, practice is what does the trick!

Ah! So lively and lush! Also reminds me of a Spyro level, but hey I'm hooked so that's my problem. XD

I want to live here, too! ^^ I am fascinated with the way all those little scribbles on that mossy wall on the right somehow join to make realistic plant life.

 What's with this spyro game? This is the second mention this week of spyro, it is making me curious now.

I love scribbles... it's the funnest part!

It was probably me both times, eheh XD

Spyro is just this video game about a cute little purple dragon. It's fun and addicting, and they have one for pretty much every platform ever made. The old ones for PS1 were the best, full of puzzles and charm and colorful, bright worlds... which is why your paintings remind me of them! <3

It does sound fun. I wanna try! ^^ I want to download your brushes but I have ancient Photoshop that doesn't let me so I suppose I can't. :(

But be careful, Gracie: caves are dangerous.
About the stars: yesterday folded 12 stars as part of an art trade. And I invented two new stars. They are now 305 more 50 bises. Yup, that is crazy.
And you would make me happy if you choose several stars and let me send them to you by mail.

You totally put me to shame here :giggle: This is looking really good  I knew that you'd put two more hours into it :giggle:
It looks really good, and I like your colours <3 Only the water seems a little to me like on its way it does not really follow the shape of the rocks underneath, especially the leftmost stream. Otherwise this turned out nicely. You must teach me how to do the foliage

Yesterday I tried to paint a colour study, it was a tiny 600x450 canvas and my comp restarted three times within half an hour :dead: So frustrating.
