Also, to give away stuff! I want to give stuff to you! DON’T YOU WANT STUFF?
And what is that stuff, may you ask? Well, I have a shiny new license number (if license numbers could be shiny) for my favorite art creation software, Clip Studio Paint (also known as Manga Studio 5) to give away, and if you play your cards right and have some luck, it could become yours! No more of that SAI nonsense, you’ll be playing with real power! Create actual circles! Write actual letters! Fill stuff with gap closing! The list of fabulous features goes on and on!
Enough exclamation points for now. “What do I need to do to enter this giveaway?”, you ask now. Well, it’s pretty simple.
Just create your own rendition of holiday Lyra, and make a deviation or journal entry showcasing it and linking to this journal, tagging me in such a way that it will show in my feedback message feed. It doesn’t matter if it’s a stick figure or something that should belong in a museum (or both). It doesn’t matter if it’s a drawing, a sculpture or a photo of your Lyra toy with a cute little Santa Claus cap on. It doesn’t matter if it’s pony, anthro or human. All that matters is that I am able to recognize it as an holiday-themed Lyra. This is not an art contest. It’s just a way to see that you’re serious about spreading love for your fellow human using the pony who most loves humans! Shut up, it made sense in my head!
Doing this will get you an entry into the prize draw, happening on January 7, 2015. If you’re my deviantArt watcher by that date, you get an extra number in the draw. If you’re my Tumblr follower by then, you get yet another number! Just make sure that I know who you are on both sites.
First Prize:
- A license for Clip Studio Paint Pro
- A fully detailed character drawing by me
Second and Third Prizes:
- A fully detailed character drawing by me
Entries will be accepted until the end of January 6, 2015, Brasília time. I will get in touch with the winners through a message here or in Tumblr. Good luck, and let’s all together spread some Lyra holiday cheer throughout the Internet!
