*sigh* I wish I had time to write atm, but I have way too many school assignments to do right now .__. I shouldn't actually have even time to draw, but when I'm stressed I just start drawing so I can get stressed about something else wut. Maybe it's just this mood that makes me pay so close attention to things I'm not that pleased with in my art.

I love how you work shadows and light so muuuuuch ;3;! The texture for the sky is pretty great, I love the grainy, hazy, cloud feel ;3;! FFFFF, AND THE COLORS. x3 Good on ya for practicing!

FFFFFF, bluuuuuuuuuue~. It really is a great color for monochromatics in my opinion - and even better in pieces like this where it dominates but doesn't completely distract from the other colors. Like, it's perfect for giving that moon, window, the ocean, and those little spots of light marking a village or a town on the other side of the bay the chance to pop. :>

omg I'm so happy and flattered I can't even, that kind of sweet comments make me look past my flaws. I tend to post my art at the moment I like them, but then I see all the mistakes and don't think they are pretty, so all this positive feedback I get makes me feel very confused.. but I really, really appreciate every nice comment and fave!Haha, I also watch for journals and status posts!

I think most people who want to get better feel that way. You feel pride in what you do well one day, and then maybe a week later you start to see the flaws. It's healthy to be critical of yourself to improve - just don't let it get you down ;>. You really do have some beautiful work and the way to see it is this: "If you make good work now, you'll make great work later!" Plus, your handle on rich colors is something that people either click with immediately or they struggle with for a long time - you truly have the eye for it!

oooh very pretty! this piece has a very nice sort of ghostly feel to it, love how dark this image is with only light coming from the moon and a couple of windows. gotta say the lighting from the windows are very nicely done!

Oh, I think you should definitely draw Garrett again! Not because your previous piece wasn't good (it is good!), but simply because there's always room for some more Thief art.
