I MADE A BACKGROUND OMG
It's Garrett once again, entering places through anything but doors, because doors are for amateurs. Watch your cat flaps, folks. And get some glass for your windows.
The guard down in the yard seems blissfully unaware what's going on.
2-3 hours, I think. It was supposed to be speedpaint but I got a bit carried away. I'm probably going to colour this later.

This doesn't even need coloring, its already perfect.. maybe some real dark shades of blue for background and dark desaturated brown for sneaky taffer's cloak, but overall, its good as it is now

Olen kyllä ihan helvetin onnellinen siitä, että Thieffillä kuitenkin on suht aktiivinen (vaikkakin pienehkö) fanikunta. Tänäkin vuonna on kuulemma tulossa aivan tajuttoman upeita fanimissioneita ja -kampanjoita -- odotan niitä enemmän kuin mitään suuren budjetin pelejä atm.
Haha ei huolta, en minä niin vähästä traumatisoidu xD

FFFFFFFF, still in love with the shadows and mood you put into these ;3;! Don't know if I say that for every piece or not enough, but it's the truth~! The buildings in the distance and then the windows shedding a little light with the guard really help to give it some interesting depth! ;3;

Thank you! ;3; I want my art to arouse emotions, what ever they may be, and I sure know what gets a reaction out of me; I'm kind of a nervous person, so I tend to paint stuff that I personally find intimidating. xD It's a bit problem though sometimes, since it's good to practice with ordinary stuff (I mean, some basic things and shapes and lighting), but such things don't interest me enough and/or don't stir up any emotions, and thus I'm not putting any effort into them and it kinda slows my improving process. 3: But at least I'm aware of it!

That's honestly half the battle right there, just knowing where you can improve. Don't put yourself down too much though, because you're already making some marvelous work ! You can only get better from here :>! It's also admirable that your aim is to make people feel from your work - that right there also shows a lot of heart!

Thank you for making more awesome art of our favorite thief! I really love the background on this one--it makes me think of the end cutscene in the first game. I think something about those blustery greys out the window just reminds me of snow.

Ha! My last three pictures have all been completely Garrettless -- how have my watchers survived? XD Thank you for your kind words, friend. ^-^ I just can't help myself, I'm always sketching hoods and cloaks so it doesn't take much for wild Garrett to appear.
