"Paru, w-wait up!" The sounds of splashing echoed through the air. Penelope tried to catch up, her tiny feet moving heavily in the salty water, digging into the soaked sand with each move. The sea waves spalshed onto her body, soaking the trimming of her purple shorts. A soft, salty breeze waved her pink hair, which was tied into two ponytails with cerulean ribbons. The wind revealed her shoulders, clothed with the short sleeves of her pink shirt.
Her Starter, Popplio, seemed to dissapear in the dephts of the water, when it was still splashing through the horizon just a moment ago. The girl soon stopped running through the water, putting her hands on the small knees. She breathed rapidly as her head hung down. The tips of her soft ponytails touched the water.
She suddendly heard a splash before her, feeling some droplets fall on her arms and head. The girl hastily raised her head, water drops falling off her hair.
