Scratch built 80's style Cobra Commander helmet

The helmet is wearable. I started off by drawing the helmet in a 3d program and then printing out a paper version called pepakura. After I glued the paper version together, I added fiberglass to strengthen and then applied bondo (the same stuff you use for cars). After, many thin layers of bondo and sanding I applied about 8 coats of paint. It's still not finished though. I still plan on molding and making a cast of the helmet as well as vacuum forming the face shield.

I've tried to find pep files of Gi Joe's themed helmets at RPF forum, but I couldn't... :(

Yeah, I was not able to either, so I created my own.  It was actually a lot of fun and a lot easier than I thought it would be.
