Soft, fertile dirt
The sweet smell of spring
Slowly fading
Into the warm, flower
Scent
Of the summer breeze

Little purple dresses,
Dancing in the breeze
Pose elegantly empty
Smelling so sweetly

Lingering, comforting feel
The homely feel of earth
Lasting forever
Held dear in my
Memories
Of the joyous task

Set in sets of four
Golden, purple, pink, white
Cute, more than beautiful
But perfectly in their right

Golden, warm embrace
The gentle rays of the sun
Growing stronger
Raising a sweat, from
Work
Of the finest magnitude

Rows and rows of shades of lavender
Caught between purple and gray
In the most beautiful way
Scented strongly, but elegantly

Flowers and earth
The company of the birds
Summer smells
Hard work all for
Blooms
And memories for the winter

once i asked you your favourite colour, and you said, "the brown of your eyes," so i put in one green contact and told everyone that i came out of the womb as a factory defect, half-priced, damaged goods. - sometimes i am from canada and sometimes i am from england and sometimes i am from spain. i've carefully tempered my accents and plotted out my stories with yellow and purple coloured pencils on index cards. my origin changes like the seasons. "why do you lie to everyone?" you ask. "why not?" i reply. - i wear nametags that read "alicia" and "liana" and "samantha," because i want to know how it feels to be someon

Dream On
A dream can be a passing thought; a passionate ambition. A dream can be a battle fought; a superficial mission. A dream can be a driving force; a forgiving comfort. A dream can be a thriving source; a deceitful consort. A dream can thrill you; drive you or kill you. Beware of this, dreamers— and Dream On.

reminders i carry in my hand:
dear me, you do not have a terrible heart. you do not have sad eyes and love is not a war you need to win. sometimes i feel like disappearing, but remember: we are never really alone. dear me, every now and then, you can close your eyes and still find your way. remember to breathe because you did not sink a paper boat and you are not floating underwater. you already know the answer to the question you are looking for. dear me, remember the small things, like the writing in the borders of pages. see the things that everyone else misses. listen to your thoughts and then lose yourself. dear me, laugh until it makes you cry. see

I am not a gardener, so this was definitely a challenge for me to write. I like how this turned out. Every time I think of gardening, I imagine working under the sun to bring life forth and splashes of color to dot this boring world. <3

This was written for ~Kazeii and I hope they like it. ^^

I asked Hinfallend for some help with this, and here is what sort of sparked my inspiration:
It’s a simple joy
One the color of rainbows
Digging into soft soil
And nurturing a life

It’s a quaint passion
An old and modern one
With hands smelling of earth
And flower scented clothes

It’s a loving delight
One that is easy to indulge in
Lavender filling the air
And splashes of alyssum on the ground

Memories"

I think you mean "held"?

I regret telling you it was okay to put my poetry in the author's comment >.> You be posting my shitty poetry next to your amazing poetry. Makes mine look even worse :XD: Take it down!

Noisy pricks. I should pay someone to kill them if they are so careless.

^^ Good.
