Update! - May 20, 2015!

It has been way too long since I have done a journal. On that note this could be a long journal. I am not sure when I will do another one, so I am going to talk about alot of different things in this journal. I will tell you guys what I am going to be talking about in sections. Here are the sections:

Where have I been? (Why my life has been busy)

That is a good question. College, my job, and house responbilities are just some of the reasons why I haven't been on here as much in terms of with my art. I have still been trying to check my dA accounts, but that is all I have really been doing. Now that it is summer I hope to do more art which leads me to the next section.

(I take it you are wondering what move you can make with that card you have there Joey (Jounouchi)! It's just like how people have been wondering where I have been for the past few months!)

Art moving forward (What I will be doing for my art this summer)

Sure I am still going to have my job and some classes this summer, but I have more time to my self. This means that I will try to work on more art this summer. I can't get better as an artist if I don't practice. I have lots of ideas for drawings I wanted to do this spring, but never got to, but hopefully I will get to them this summer. I also have a drawing to post that I did in my art class this spring and two other drawings to post. (One that is finished and another that will be finished soon.) Look forward to those. Also I can take on more commission this summer. (Of course I don't usually take on commissions, so I guess that isn't really a problem right now.) I hope to experiment with lots of different stuff this summer in my drawings. 

("There comes a time when you have to believe in the deck you have assembled." - Yami Yugi! I guess I need to start believing in my self more as an artist! Yami's advice to Yugi is great and it can work for me too!)

Fixing up my profile

I haven't really fixed my profile since I added all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! related pictures. That was probably back in 2014 I believe. I think it is about time I did. During this summer I am going to fix my profile and I will try to make it look better, add different pictures, fix my commission section, and fix my ID. I hope that when I am done my profile will look much better than it is now.

(One of the reasons why I want to fix up my profile is now I have found such great pictures like this one! Got to love how Yami is smirking!)

My long road is almost over (College career!)

You read the title of this section right my college career is almost over. When I was talking to my academic advisor at the college I go to (That is someone who can help you make sure you are taking the classes that you need for your major and help you with other stuff related to college or point you in the right direction) about classes I would need to take this summer her and I looked over what classes I had left that I needed to take to complete my major. We soon realized that I didn't have as many classes to take as she thought. She told me that I could take two classes this summer, in the fall, and during the spring of 2016 and then I would have taken all of the classes that I would need to complete my major. This was huge news for me. To think that my college career was going to be done come the end of the spring 2016 semster was amazing. I have already started bragging to people about it. Hehehehe! ^_^ To think one chapter of my life is going to be over and another is going to start is huge. Most people after they graduate from college like to go on a vacation or a trip before they start their life. (You know working, finding a job if they have to, paying for a place to live, and other stuff like that) I am one of those people who is going to go on a vacation after my college career is done. Which leads me to my next topic.

(That's right Yugi (Yuugi) soon the Pharaoh will find the anwsers he is seeking and your journey together will be done! Just like how my college journey is almost done!)

A vacation to where magic and a mouse rule (Walt Disney World)

If you guys have read one of the memes that I have done I told you guys what my favorite place to go on vacation is. For those of you who don't know it is Walt Disney World (WDW for short) in Orlando, Florida of the United States of America. I was telling my parents on about May 8, 2015 that one of the things I wanted to do when I graduate from college is go back to WDW. The last time I went was in 2012, which was about 3 years ago. Alot has changed since I last went there. I decided to look up things related to WDW, in case I would go again soon. It doesn't hurt to start planning early. My mom told me that when she got back from working on something with my dad that she had talked to him and said that she was thinking of having them take me to WDW and that would be my gift for graduating college. At first I didn't think she was serious, I mean doing something like that would be fun, but it would take alot of money to do. I soon realized that she was quite serious. That is right guys I am going to WDW next year and I am so excited. I have been a Disney fan longer then anything else in my life. (Of course I still love anime and video game related stuff more right now) Since I spent some time at home all last week (May 11 - May 17) I was able to start working on the plans for this trip. I can't wait to go and it will be great to go to this wonderful place again! (Note: My favorite park at WDW is Epcot, because I love the World Showcase. Which has simples of 11 countries from around the world)

(When it comes to different people or other things Mickey Mouse has been I will have to say Sorcerer Mickey is my favorite! I even have a Sorcerer Mickey hat and Mickey gloves!)

Becoming the King of Games (Yugi Muto (Mutou Yuugi) cosplay)

Ever since February I have been getting help from someone here on dA on how I can get or make the parts for a cosplay that I am going to be working on this summer. The cosplay I am speaking of is for Yugi Muto (Mutou Yuugi) from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. That's right I am going to become the King of Games. It is going to be challenging to get some of the pieces for this cosplay and it isn't going to be cheap. I hope that I can pull it off. I will make sure to post pictures once it is complete.

(It must be hard being the King of Games, Yugi (Yuugi)! For me it is going to be hard to cosplay you! Your hair certainly is interesting, but hard to pull off!)

I thought to finish off this journal I would share two songs with you. One that is video game related and one that is anime related.


(First the one that is video game related. Summer is coming soon and this is a nice summer song. If you like a western type song, then this is going to be something you will love. I listen to this song alot. Check it out and enjoy! Note: The song stops at 3:45. I couldn't find another video with this song.)


Second the one that is anime related. I found another Yu-Gi-Oh! song to love. Hehehehe! ^_^ I have heard part of this song before, but I have always wanted to hear the whole thing and now I have. For those of you who have seen the english dub of the first series of Yu-Gi-Oh! (Yu-Gi-Oh! DM as it was called in Japan) will remember this song. This song has lots of heart. Check it out and enjoy!
