Thanks so much for the snazzy actions! ADORE your presentation...the curved photo is fantastic.

As for you tip about learning from actions, Great Idea!!! SUCH an asset to any action post. I'm really still learning PSCS2, and now trying to learn Gimp 2.4, PSE 5 and 6...really focusing on Gimp and PSE6 as they're avail on my laptop and rest is desktop. I'm unable to use PSCS2 often because can't sit up for long at desktop...back hassles. So I've been running actions in it, writing down steps and trying to figure out those similar paths in other programs that I've got on laptop. Haven't had a TON of luck with it just because I still have so much to learn bout the paths in other programs, but its definitely working...and limited by my knowledge more than anything else. Of course, still abide by tou of original action. Before I got sick when I did all my work at desktop no problem, I never really thought a whole lot about what the action was "doing"...just hit play, and was joyous at result. But now i'm beginning to learn all the ins and outs of compound functions, and really improving skills dramatically! Thanks so much...and personally I think every action should stick a note like that in post! lol

I WISH someone would post some sort of an "equivalent functions" know, THIS function in PS7 = THIS in PSCS3 = THIS in Gimp = THIS in PSE6. Clearly, some functions dont exist in some programs, but could suggest if there's plug in, or how to approximate effect.

Would be a ton of work, but I think it would help thousands of people. I simply don't have the skills, but someday I'll be able to take a crack at it! lol

So thanks for goodies, and food for thought! lol...I'll check out your gallery and see your other work.
