Sketch: Astro Heroes

Long time, no see. I had a little "break" recently. To be honest, I was at a psychiatric clinic because of a severe case of postpartal depression. The good thing is: I'm back home again. And even better: I had the chance to get creative again!
This is a set of superheroes I invented myself, the Astro Heroes. They all got their powers through the universe, representing the 10 different planets (including the Sun and Pluto) used in astrology. I'm still working on the details, but they're all from different countries all over the world, all suffering in one way or another, before they get their powers. Here's what I got on them so far:
The Sun King representing the Sun: Pascale Mathieu, a 50-year-old married woman with 3 kids from France who feels like a man and who attempts suicide as an operation doesn't get granted. At that point, he gets his powers that allow him to take out the true nature of people, including his own. See here for colored version: Astro Heroes: The Sun King
The Moon Goddess representing the Moon: Iriqtaq Merrill, a 30-year-old woman from Alaska who is secretly in love with another woman, while her family wants her to get married to a man. As her secret love interest is attacked by a polar bear, she gets her powers that allow her to express and fulfill people's true feelings and inner needs. The Godly Messenger representing Mercury: Arvo Järvelä, a 16-year-old mute student from Finland who got accepted at a special school for mute kids. But their parents die in a car accident and so the school is no longer paid for. That's when they get their powers that allow them to improve people's communication and resourcefulness. The Warrior representing Mars: Marwan Akhim, a 20-year-old Syrian soldier who lost his family in war. When he has a nervous breakdown during an attack, he gets his powers that allow him to turn fighting spirit and aggression into healthy ways. See here for colored version: Astro Heroes: The Warrior
The Beauty representing Venus: Belle Sullivan, a 21-year-old upcoming supermodel from the USA who always wanted nothing but fame and used men to get what she wanted. As she is about to get raped by a model agent, she gets her powers that allow her to create true beauty, value and enjoyment. See here for colored version: Astro Heroes: The Beauty
The Eldest representing Saturn: William Walker, an 80-year-old former ranger in an old people's home in Australia who experienced a lot in his life, but is about to die alone. That's when he gets his powers that allow him to reconcile fears, seriousness and responsibility in people. See here for colored version: Astro Heroes: The Eldest
The Eccentric representing Jupiter: Shin Daichi, a 45-year-old obese manager from Japan who never took care of his health and always worked hard. As he is about to have a heart attack during an important meeting, he gets his powers that allow him to find sense and the right measure in things and protect people from exaggeration. The Medium representing Neptune: Adisa Farah, a 62-year-old woman working in a refugee camp in Africa who no one believed when she predicted a natural catastrophe. As the catastrophe comes, she gets her powers that allow her not only to predict things, but also to make contacts among people. The Freethinker representing Uranus: Franklin García, a 67-year-old cranky professor of art and philosophy living in the Andes who is about to lose his job and his wife because of his obsession with astrology. That's when he gets his powers that allow him to support independence, creativity and inventiveness in people. After he gets his powers, he gets this funky hairstyle. He is the only Astro Hero who actually dealt with astrology before he received his powers. See here for colored version: Astro Heroes: The Freethinker
The Magician representing Pluto: Maximilian Enzmann, a 25-year-old right-winged hooligan from Germany who is about to kill someone in a riot during a demonstation. That's when he gets his powers that allow him to influence people and avert bad destinies, including his own. He's the most powerful Astro Hero, but also the one who is most afraid of his powers and who isn't even aware of the significance of his powers and actions. EDIT: I decided to rename The Oracle into The Medium, as there already is a superhero character named "Oracle" in the DC Universe - and "Medium" does fit her better, too!
