Thank you so much. I may need to pick your brain sometime on how you cell shade as beautifully as you do. I'd like to do more of that myself. :)

Awww babes, well I can explain my methods as well as my pathetic vocab would allow <3

(This is done in PS, I'm afraid if you have another program I don't really know I'm really sorry)
I have my line layer and I layer that from the background so that I can do layers both above and below (Switching the Mode to Multiply). Beneath that I have a 'background' of a single block colour not used in the picture. Beneath the linework layer I have my shading layer (I do my shading first before adding the block colour, I don't know if it matters what order you do it in, but that's how I do it personally) Picking a colour opposite to the background layer, I draw in the shape of the shadows. I tend to pick a light source from the right or left of a character unless the picture demands differently. Drawing the shape of the shadows in, following the shape of the body part I'm working on, I then bucket fill in the shadows, for example, all on the left if the Lightsource comes from the right. Also shadows go where there is the suggestion of weight and beneath an area covered by something else. With all the shadows coloured, I alter the Hue/Saturation/Brightness right down to turn them black and then alter the layer's Opacity until it suits the picture. Then hiding that layer I block colour on a layer beneath then bring it back at the end - voila.

(I'm so sorry about the text wall babe, and I hope it makes sense. I will never make a teacher because I just can't explain things <3 )
