And this year I have been inspired to try something special.
Listening to one of my favorite weekly YouTube shows, Lean Into Art, Jerzy had an idea that resonated with me. I want to make his brainstorm into a challenge to all of my comic creator friends.
Here's the challenge:
Between now and October complete a plot and thumbnails for an 8 page mini comic. Get it all set and ready to ink for the annual Inktober challenge.
Then, each day, ink and present a section of each page as you complete the inks. The goal is to have an 8 page mini comic ready to ship at the end of the month.

For a writers group I am a part of I have set the short term goal to do something creative every day. It isn't always easy between a full-time job, big family and chronic health problems. I am happy to share that I have met the goal for a couple months now.
I would love to be able to commit to posting more work here. I mean, there will be more, but I don't see myself being able to compete with some of the prolific and incredible work I am seeing out there. I am thankful to be a part of this community where inspiration is only a few clicks away.
