So, I was about to continue working on Zarda and Lorna's special illustration and, through a mixup of my storage devices I lost the Photoshop files. I can continue working using the WiP version I posted last week, but I was also working on the background and layout for the special illustrations, which is the thing that annoys me the most.
I have to admit this whole thing has left me a bit unmotivated to carry on, but don't worry. While I'm writing this I'm taking steps to prevent this from happening again. Still, I undestand how important this is to you all, but please give me a few days to get my stuff together.
Thank you for your patience and continued support!

Some Changes Ahead
Hey everyone! Here I am once again with an update and a few apologies.
Some major changes are coming in my work/life situation soon, and because of that I’m still not sure what the future looks like for my art projects. Depending on how everything plays out, I may still be able to take commissions from time to time, or I may need to slow down my posting schedule for a while.
For now, I’ll be removing the Patreon tiers so all of my work will be available for even free Patreon followers. If you’d like to keep following along, feel free to check everything out through the link below.

What Superman reminded me at just the right moment
As I mentioned a few days ago, I’ve been going through a bit of a slump due to various personal factors. I won’t bore you with the details, and I don’t expect things to improve to what I’d call “optimal” anytime soon.
That said…
Yesterday I had the good fortune of finally watching the new Superman film. I missed it in theaters because of the slump, and while I regret not experiencing it on the big screen, I honestly feel that now was the moment I needed that movie the most.
When I was younger, I was more of a Batman fan—and he’s still one of my favorites (at least the well-written versions). But as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to appreciate Superman more and more (again, when he’s written well). We live in a very foolish and often cruel world, one that doesn’t make much sense if you try to apply logic and empathy to it. And yet, it’s up to each of us to do the best we can—and when we fail, to learn and grow from it.
In the real world, we can’t stop billionaires or politicians (who
An unexpected surge of inspiration
I don't normally share my emotional state, but I have to admit that I've been going through some… interesting months. Maybe you noticed the lack of art, which is another result of this slump. I've been struggling a lot with finding the motivation to continue the artistic endeavor I started almost three years ago, and it pains me to say that at my lowest, I thought quitting wouldn't make a difference at all.
That said, even if things haven’t completely improved in my personal life, I do feel a bit better now—partly because the last piece I uploaded was received much better than I had hoped for. That gave me a surge of inspiration, and I’ve started working on the next pairing: Rogue and Andromeda, which I hope you’ll be seeing soon enough.
Yesterday, while browsing TVTropes (a habit I’ve been trying to quit, since I tend to spend too much time there), I discovered that Akemi from How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? had a drastic change in appearance in one of the volumes. Not one to
