Starved To Death In A Land Of Plenty

Originally drawn on the back of Hannah's maths jotter when I was supposed to be listening to the teacher. But it's cool, because she's given up trying to stop me now.

Hannah: Can we get a free period on the last day of school?
Teacher: I suppose.
Hannah: Does that mean Laura's allowed to draw?
Teacher: Well, she draws whether I let her or not, so.... -shrugs-

Heehee.

Anyway, this is my character known as Yuki. Incidentally, this is also the name of the dog in the story I'm writing at the moment. But that's beside the point.

Yuki has also been known as Haru. I've shoogled her colouring around a bit in this picture, swapping grey and white around and darkening the blue. Hope you enjoy the art. And yup, that's a gas mask sitting next to her.

I'm not going to tell you the meaning on this picture. You tell me. What do YOU think it means?
