So I think I can safely say the first map game is largely over with. It went pretty well until things became a little disjointed, I think... we should keep in mind that this was our first one through dA and the group, and things never go smoothly the first time round...
Some points I think might improve things for all of us;
1) When you finish your map, upload it to the group, to the correct gallery! If you don't know how to do so, theres a box when you're uploading for what groups to submit it to and what gallery of that group to send it to
2) When you finish your turn, it's up to you to give a polite nudge to the next person in the list. Thus it's essential that a proper list is kept in the game's gallery
3) Games should be started on the group, rather than people's journals etc. I would think we probably don't all watch each other here yet. I don't know if anyone else can create and edit galleries besides me (as founder) if you guys can, that would be easiest, if you just create your own gallery and thus talk space when you want to start a game - someone give it a try and let me know, I might need to fiddle with permissions again
4) Clear rules. The last one started with rather modest nations, but I don't think I'm out of line to say it went a bit mad (perhaps mine included) rather quickly
Any other suggestions anyone has?
