Description
Watercolor, November 2012. The original is postcard sized.
An exercise in complementary colours a watercolor course; I'm trying to make the lessons at least a little interesting by painting subjects that matter. The horse is not supposed to be F but a regular bay horse. This picture may look nice when viewed from a distance.

I don't know if it indeed is distance that works the magic, but it all makes me think of something Knötel might have seen/painted while slightly inebriated.
