I woke up the next morning, it was Monday. I rolled over to my left side, my body still cocooned in my blanket, and fished for my charger cord. I finally grasped the thin wire in my fingertips and reeled it in. I was careful not to yank the plug from the wall as I hauled in my catch. The nice thing about it was that the phone wasn't alive, so it couldn't fight back and get away. I hit a button at the top of my phone and looked at the time on the display. It was 10:00 in the morning. I had the sudden urge to dial Danielle's number, but I figured she'd still be asleep, so I just thought I'd wait until after noon to talk to her.
Hopefully what happened last night would finally convince that idiot Matt to leave her alone. Not to mention, learn how to properly treat a woman before trying to date again. I hated guys like him. But the danger that was Matt seemed to have passed, for now. Both of my parents were working right now and my two younger siblings were already downstairs. I co
