UNLIMITED POWER has gone somewhat awry.  His error might be a mystery, but I suspect it to be a failure of intuition, at this point years old, that cascaded into a series of logical, brilliant, but ultimately entirely wrong steps towards solving the problem of making himself into the most powerful asshole mage around."
