Spectrum, the Silver District
Amelio Goldfinger, astride his fine horse, made his way down the wide thoroughfare, the clatter of hooves echoing on the cobblestones, daring anyone to get in his way. A myriad of different races filled the surrounding streets and establishments, including some members of the barbaric goblin-kin races. He saw orcs, hobgoblins, and even gnolls leisurely walking down the street or laughing over drinks at the outdoor taverns. The merchant from Blackport wrinkled his nose at this affront to civilized society, not bothering to hide his disapproval.
While Spectrum’s Silver District was a massive improvement over the filthy, vermin-riddled shantytown outside the city’s outer wall, which he had to travel through to reach the main gate, it was still far too common for his taste.
