It's only a two mile hike.
The story is, since this is a popular location, we had to get there before everyone else. So, we started the hike at 6 am, got to the location by 7 am. To get to this vantage point, we had to swim up the creek since the water is more than six feet deep. I put my clothes in a plastic bag and floated my camera in its waterproof case ahead of me. We got done shooting at 9 am, just as other people started to show up.
