This example shows how I used the veneer to create a new deck that covers the whole area. I removed the nubs from the Mega Bloks part and reinforced the veneer with a thin layer of cardstock. This deck was simply painted with wood stain, which I applied before gluing the piece in. It accentuates the wood grain from the veneer even more, creating a very convincing wooden floor. The picture showing the underside clearly illustrates how you should try to cover the largest possible area. This converted surface is flat and allows miniatures' bases easily.
