Insert your own Abridged quotes if you must, but this here is an idea I've had in my head for some time for a series of morbid Anime tributes. They can be best described as either Anime with a renaissance \ archeological sense of darkened romanticism, or to be blunt, Anime if it was on the cover of a blackened death metal band. Karl Sanders Saurian music series also served as an influence too.

So here I've been working on and off on this particular piece since December as my attention got divided by other matters before I can finish it just recently. I think one of the video games beat me to it regarding a mass-producing Cell years prior. In any case, as Dragon Ball fans can gather, this picture went with the idea of what if Cell beat the heroes and laid waste to the surface of Planet Earth (instead of blowing it up completely). Like a proud conqueror, he sits atop of a throne made of past enemies, pondering on what kingdom across the galaxy should he lay waste to next.

Naturally, I had a lot of fun interpreting the Cell Juniors. I rolled with the idea for a variety of twisted, Chaos-Spawn-horrors for two reasons. One: would Emporer Cell allow his children to be more perfect than him? Probably not. And secondly, and I'm sure Team 4star and others may agree, that the Juniors offer an insight into the many aspects of Cell's split-minded, psychopathic insanity. That he would go ahead and form flying death squads can't be ruled out either.

In collective summary, I had a lot of fun in this interpretation, and if it takes off and I'm willing to take a break from my main projects, I'd love to give more of these a go. :)

This is absolutely insane, the idea and detail is well...perfect (If you can forgive that overused pun) It does make a mark as one of the more unique images in dragon ball, and making each cell jr behave different does add to the background further.

It's probably worthwhile to post this on dbz reddit (unless you have already)

Thank you for your input, Sir. Having a balance of what can be recognised and what I can experiment with is the key to having some fun. But yeah, If anyone wants to post a link to this on Reddit, they can go for it. I always enjoy scaring kids around there. :)

Cheers again for the multiple :+fav: and :+devwatch:.

If he's anything like me, he's getting miffed on the long loading times for Clipstudio to save the file, recovery information and export the damn thing.

Thanks for the kind words. :)

Yeah Clip Studio does like to "SAVING RECOVERY, IT'LL TAKE A LITTLE BIT" in inopportune times.
