Series Ranting: Sonic X

Recently I decided to rewatch Sonic X...... and it has it's flaws yes, but overall I enjoyed it.

I first watched Sonic X way back in 2003 (I think it was for the UK) and I remember liking it then. 

What I liked:
+ The animation: the anime style really works for Sonic the Hedgehog characters with the bright colours and sharp detailing. 
+ The Characters: a very great choice of characters with their own personalities and development. 
+ The Tone of the Series (Overall): the series has it's light, calm and heartwarming moments as well as it's fair share of Darker and tragic times---I'll get to one in particular in a moment. 
+ The impact it had on me, this series is what got me into Sonic The Hedgehog which is why I'm not going to be too hard on it's faults.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: Cosmo and Tails' relationship, oh my guys I loved every moment when they on screen together (I am a Tails x Cosmo shipper, as you may tell from my recent uploads too). But the way it ends was tragic and I couldn't hold back my tears for the first time ever. 

What I didn't like as much:
+ The Censoring: 4kids (which oversaw the English dub for Sonic X) censored this series a lot and I don't understand why. 
+ The Soundtrack (At times): While I didn't hate the soundtrack we got for the English dub, when compared to the original Japan series it did feel out of place at times (especially on a scene that was emotional)

Despite some of the issues I had (Mainly to do with the decisions by 4kids) I think it is worth a watch.

7/10

I will always hold Sonic X close to my heart, It may not be everyone's favourite series, but it isn't terrible by any stretch of imagination.
