Dark Tails: Temptation

A few hours had pass, Sonic and the team were preparing their next move against the Metarex, however Tails is feeling ''unsettled'' and decides to sneak off.

Tails (Thinking to himself): I can't stay here knowing what Shadow tried to do to Cosmo, I know I said to Sonic I'd let go of my hate, I can't.

-

Feeling his anger returning, Tails makes his way to the medical bay, as the doors behind him close, his eyes turn red and his body changes colour again. Unknown to him, Cosmo was watching and she became worried.

-

Moments later, Tails gets to the medical bay where Shadow is still recovering and here Tails walks in and stares down at Shadow with pure hatred.

Shadow: Huh?.... What do you want?

Dark Tails: You to leave Cosmo alone. You made a stupid mistake coming on board this ship and trying to kill Cosmo was a even bigger mistake, I thought you'd never even think of doing such a 'evil' thing Shadow, never mind actually attempting to kill her. What did you hope to get? What was it that made you want to murder Cosmo? Answer me!

Shadow: You think I'm scared? Cosmo is working for the Metarex and that is the truth, she is helping them to destroy the Galaxy and by killing her that would foil the Metarex, ending their threat.

Dark Tails: How do you know that? How do you know the Metarex don't have a plan B or whatever else?... My point is whether your right or not, It doesn't give you ANY RIGHT TO KILL COSMO!

Then Dark Tails pulls out the same knife he used to stab Shadow, threating him unless he admits he was wrong for what he tried to do and will leave Cosmo alone.

Dark Tails: I'M NOT JOKING SHADOW, YOU WILL STAY AWAY FROM COSMO, OR I WILL USE THIS AGAIN!!!!!

Shadow: Go ahead, nothing is stopping you, kill me, kill me now!

Dark Tails: I will do what ever it takes to keep Cosmo safe.

Then Shadow realises Tails is in love with Cosmo.

-

Shadow: I see..... you have feelings for her don't you? Your in love with her. -- Disgusting!

Dark Tails: NOW! WILL YOU LEAVE COSMO ALONE??

-

Dark Tails aims his knife for Shadow's throat, but before he could do anything, Sonic & Cosmo catch up to him and stop him.

-

Sonic: Tails? TAILS? What the hell are you doing?

Dark Tails: STAY OUT OF THIS SONIC!!!!!

Cosmo: Tails? please, put the blade down. Revenge isn't going to help.

-

After hearing Cosmo's voice, Tails calms down, returns to his normal colours and breaks into tears. Cosmo takes him to a quiet room where she can comfort him and where he can rest.

-

Tails: Comso?..... Please help me, I need you.

Cosmo: Shhhh, I'm here Tails and I always will be.
